    As much as I hate the pill shape, the island thing they're doing with these iPhones looks very good and innovative, but them I feel like if it was placed on the far left it would've been better, and the 48MP main lense is a nice upgrade, but then video seemed to be not improved either than that cinematic mode which can do 4k now, 4k 120fps would've been been a nice upgrade.

If you look current notch there's room until the safe zone ends. So it doesn't cover anything more. Also the pill doesn't reach to videos just like notch doesn't.

Also taking ... morewith the same price in US, the price hike in EU is too much. last year it was 1099€. there has been no reason of setting the price higher than last year as no additional tax has been implemented. I wanted to have the 14 pro this year upgrading from 11 but I wont. its not worth 1299€ to be honest.

                      Now imagine doing the same thing in Android, where there are maybe 10 new models per week appearing, lol.
                      In other words, no way they will do this in a larger scale on Android. Maybe 1-2 models each and there, will copy this feature from Apple. But that's it.

With the notch at least it would be part of the rest of the picture. Watching video it’s going to be much more noticeable.

                              Since no one in the end makes use of real time HDR, otherwise single frame would be enough instead of overlapping 8, 10, 12 or 16; so zero advantage of bayer of same size.

                              Btw, dont you think that with larger 1.05" xiaomi should beat those 1" compacts instead of losing easily? Let's hope Honor can do better, because Oppo will surely not judging the Find X series does poorly for the hardware used.

                                  Once again, Apple makes worse implementation of existing solution after 4 years, people mock it, Samsung mocks it, Apple blows away the competition with their sales, everyone copies Apple and continue to buy their phones.

                                  I can bet in 100$ that Android 15 will have notch notification features like iOS does which will also result in Samsung and the rest introducing pills to screens

                                    Things that i found interesting from this presentation for the Pro models

                                    +Nice implementation on the notch
                                    +Finally AoD
                                    +Finally no more 12mp cameras
                                    +A16 chip and not A15
                                    +2000nits brightness

                                    -base storage starts from 128 and not 256gb
                                    -AoD should not be Pro models exclusive
                                    -no TypeC(hopefully next year?)
                                    -heavy price increase in Europe and not USA

                                    We still have no info on ram and batteries.

                                    For those that are interested, wait for Iphone15, hopefully with TypeC and hopefully the base models have at least a 90hz display.

I wouldn't have an issue with inflated prices if they haven't literally renamed iPhone 13 into iPhone 14 and charged more for it. I don't give rats rear if it now has A15 that was in the last year's Pro model. All you get is some more GPU power. Yupty doo, I couldn't care less about that. It didn't make big difference before and it still doesn't now.

                                        We're in midst of biggest recession in years, everything is inflated like crazy, pays are s**t and everyone charges top money for everything like we're at the peak of spending and we'll just keep on going. So, yeah, I hope this truly lazy (even for Apple's standards) attempt to milk money flops so hard they'll never pull it again. If they want to have customers next year that is. Just USB-C won't save that. No way.
