Apple is actually lowering the resale value for the US models iPhone 14 series to international markets. A lot of people who are used to a physical sim slot will not buy an iPhone without it.

Openly, I chosed "not for me" in all questions because iPhone is still no USB-C for charging. It is still the same iPhone for me.

No innovation , 11 Sep 2022I think innovation stopped when Scott Forstall got fired fr... moreInnovation actually improved since Tim Cook took over. iPhone 5-6 still using mediocre LCD screen while Samsung S5-S7 and Galaxy Note 3 already sporting AMOLED display. The S7 also has QHD resolution. Only came until iPhone X. Aside from fingerprint sensor.
iPhone 6 was a bendable, 4S had flexgate. No major build quality issues after Tim took over.

JayrBars, 11 Sep 2022Why no love for the 14 and 14 plus?It’s essentially an iPhone 13S. Very identical specs, just a Plus model in absence of the mini, Crash Detection and Satellite SOS (none which are essential). The camera upgrades are too minor
Only the Pro models are worth considering.

With the switch to esim only on the North American units there is absolutely no legitimate reason for them not to have micro SD as there is no extra space. But of course Apple hates it's customers. But they know it doesn't matter because people don't buy iPhones because they think they're good phones, they buy them as fashion accessories

For someone like me who travels a few times, esim is ok but removing the sim card slot makes it difficult to use another sim card. In iphone 13pro i can just disable 1 esim and use the physical sim for the extra use, plus esims are currently not offered on a lot of airport.

iPhone with 4gb ram like iPhone 12 and 13 is getting low spec.
good that iPhone 14 low spec is 6gb ram now, moving forward.

Apple does not cap thepower of M chips on macbooks like done to ipads.
