I keep my devices battery within range of 30-60%. Charging from 30% to 60% level uses only 0.03 cycles of battery. It's so much better than 1 cycle that it takes to charge from 0-100%.

I keep a large power bank with me to charge the devices on the go. Apple can fuck its battery replacement program. Mine will last forever.

I'm exaggerating here, but that's exactly the case with a lot of things with iPhones. Most Android users just look at hard specs on paper and literally nothing else. They could not get a single software update ever and from the looks of it, everyone would be fine with it for as long as their phone has most megapixels, most zoom, most nits of brightness on display and most RAM. iPhone users for the most part value that it just works and works really well as a complete package with excellent long term software support. And as someone who left Android for all the good things iPhones excel at, I can understand that. For me, being able to install latest big update the moment it's announced beats all specs on paper or all tweaks and extras Androids have. May not be for someone else, but it is for me. It's so good it makes me prefer iPhone over anything else just because of this.

The same cotton on my $50 shirt is likely the same material on my $200 shirt. So, what am I paying for? The brand, reputation and maybe better quality. Maybe. If it's a problem for me, I won't buy the $200 shirt. I'm not going to tell everyone else they're naive for buying the $200 shirt. Does that actually work for some of you? It certainly hasn't stopped apple from selling the most phones at $800 and up.

Just because I drive a better value and more reliable car doesn't mean I'm disconnected from reality. And my example still stands.

Have you ever done yearly maintenance on a Kia and same yearly maintenance on BMW ? BMW's oil isn't 500% better and neither is its filter, but you'll pay more because it's a premium product. iPhone is the BMW, Poco is probably about Kia I'd say. It's just how it works. I didn't make this up, it's how it always has been.

The price of the battery is not proportionate to the cost of the device. It's not like the apple is five times better than that of the Poco f3. I also replaced my Poco f3 battery for around 25 quid. I've also bought replacement generic batteries for iphones like the 7 and 8 and paid 30 or 40 quid. It's just a battery and charging 100 euros to replace it is simple profiteering. Just call it what it is. The more people like you accept them mugging off customers and try to justify it, the more they'll keep increasing prices. Plus, not everyone is jacking up prices. There are some incredible phones out there for less than 700 euros.

Apple wants all the money they can get, and even more. They keep their revenue mostly for us, not much goes to the channel. Most greedy company ever.
