Nokia 5800 doesnt aim samsung omnia and innov8 , obviously it belongs to different catagoery since it s Touch UI probally aiming the IPhone but for samsung omnia and innov8 it well might be Nokia N96 .

I hope this phone will appear in the market in a reasonable price. Nokia likes to give an expensive price for their phones. Sometimes aren't reasonable. Hope this phone won't be like that. Can we play this phone with some gestures? Example, see photo by sweeping our finger.

The iphone is not crappy, its just that it doesn't cater to everyone. It can deliver what it was suppose to do. Cause come to think of it, the iphone may not be a "monster" spec-wise but it have become a barometer to other brand to what they can offer. Im not an iphone user myself...

i don't know if its already been posted but in the latest batman movie Morgan Freeman is shown using 5800 tube in the Hong Kong scene..pretty kewl..nice orange icons right-indented like the Google android UI

Are you really talking ab... moreif you look closely to my comment, since the phone has not yet been released i said hopefully it might be a decent price tag compared to the samsung omnia and innov8. Because if you look at the omnia and innov8(predicted retail at 750 euros) and even the htc touch diamond they're all in the high 800's to 1000's dollar price range atleast based upon the US market wholesalers. And if nokia is stating that the tube is a midrange touch phone with the features being speculated we could be talking about a cheap knock off of the omnia as such of what the commentators here are suggesting in this log. Maybe 600 dollars 700 dollars could be a mark nokia is lookin at for the tube but in any case it would be cheaper than the predicted 750 euro price mark for the innov8 and high 900's for the omnia. And again some1, with all do respect nokia is the leading phone manufacturer thus the prices on their handsets may be a little to high for you, being numero uno doesnt mean your paying extra, as such with vertu~
