That really become a plus point for non-pro 14.. but still rear glass need to be verify.. lol
Just one freaking sheet of rear glass need Apple approval.. Apple really control everything in their ecosystem.
You just paid money to Apple to use their product and cannot changes anything without their consent. Almost like the same concept use in a country that assemble iphone. Everything need to be control. How ironic.

And some people online tend to forget that waterproof phones were possible while being easier to fix than now, with 3.5mm and microsd slots.
And some even with hot swap batteries.
But it;s cheaper they way companies do it now, cheaper for them because we as a consumer pay more and more, and all companies are guilty for that, NO exceptions.

There is a huge range of devices of all kind of types that use other methods.
You can get a very long way with a simple rubber gasket and screws.
Even high voltage electrical outdoor equipment aren't usually glued together.

Sure this is less horrible than previous versions irreparability, but 7/10??? Talk about inflation.... The need of a heat-gun and everything glued, how could this ever get such a high score? Or are they using an exponential scale?
(And no this has nothing to do with it being an aPple device, any device that is not primarily screwed and/or clicked together should never have such high a repairability-score)
