Secondly, there are various use cases for today's games which may include Ray Tracing, High fps refresh (upto 360Hz exists), HDR/10 bit colour, ultra wide setup with 2-3 monitors, and even 8K gaming...
8K is 4 times of 4K, 33.1 megapixels instead of 8.
So, believe me, what you think about cards depends on what setup and use case you have.
Plus, AAA games are updating very frequently so with this much cash, you expect a bit of future proofing.
So, SShock is not wrong, in fact, his reply is a logical one and answered my question in exactness...

Retailers are still huffing on the cryptocraze price high. Miners are clueless and many are still holding onto their "investment" of 50+ GPUs and some are even picking up new/used GPUs even now since they are hopeful and waiting for the next scamcoin. Both want more money than they deserve and neither are willing to budge...yet.
When that dam finally breaks in the next 30 to 60 days, because sure as heck no worthless scamcoin is going to "moon" in this unstable global economic situation (and also because no other token can replicate the perfect historic conditions of what made ETH a profitable PoW scamcoin)...both old and new GPUs will be flowing through the BTFOpen floodgates along with the sweet, sweet tears of scalpers, hoarders and cryptobros. Call me bitter, but I will take great joy in the social media posts of these two groups making *sad tapeworm noises* in the coming weeks.
