Having had Bud2 Pro's since before launch, (retailer shipped them early) they definately don't lack bass as long they're in correctly. They are tuned to be more accurate, which makes them very clear sounding, but aren't tuned to a completely flat frequency curve. They have an a slight bump in bass and large boost in treble by default to my ears at least. Definitely plenty of bass way.

Not much bass but really clear and accurate sound.

"Samsung knows you can’t have big battery life and a massive woofer or tweeter, so it decided to go for the former. Music on the Buds2 Pro sounds flat without much bass."

Over done bass is proof of lousy sound quality. Some of the finest studio monitors have pretty flat and accurate sound. Bass shouldn't be crass and exaggerated.

Well they're amazing, very clear, very high-fidelity sound... and also does not suck on calls, and is far more comfortable than first gen, because it actually fits in my ear and doesn't fall when i'm at the treadmill. I just think that Samsung could find a way to make it seamlessly connect to my windows notebook, just like on Airpods/Mac.

Just got it two days back, sound quality is very underwhelming, how these things sound to each person is subjective but it is lackluster for me.

                  Old good third-part eq 😎

Ι pre-ordered them. Best buds i ever had, the best overall for all situation. Good for calls, good for workout, good for running down the street without losing ambient audio perception of the surroundings, they can much Sony linkbuds on that. The Pros2 also have high volume, great connection, practically no flaw.
As for the bass, its one of the highest i ve ever tried, i had to tone it down a bit on settings , where i discovered it can be further boosted. This is the opinion of several other reviewers too, probably the GSMarena reviewer might have used a not very compatible phone (iphone?) or inferior sound source.

Quite surprised that the bass is underwhelming.. I've used the galaxy buds+, which has received a similar review - turns out it has to do with the quality of the seal that the ear tip provides you. A poor seal will give you practically no bass, and that's also probably what happened here.

Their biggest drawback, like the Pro 1, is that they don't stay fit in the ear. And as soon as you touch them to fix this, the touch controls make the music skip to the next music track or just stop playing. It's really annoying! We have no choice but to cancel the touch control in the application completely

After returning 4 pairs. The buds2 are way better in fit and specially because every single buds2 pro I tried has hissing when ANC is on. Unlile the dead silent Buds2

This is a fairly spot-on notice.

The bass is underwhelming. You can punch it up a notch, under 'Earbuds Settings' in the Wear app, but it's hard to find a perfect medium between bass and volume levels.

Thankfully, with the improvements in ANC and 360 audio, these still provide an excellent listening experience.

I love love love true wireless earbuds. Already have 3 pairs. Jabra Elite 85t. Philips TAT2206. Edifier X5. Just use the equalizer of your phone/music app. Set this way: 7DB - 5DB - 4DB - 1DB - 0DB - 0DB - 0DB - 0DB - 0DB. Bass will get better. But if you are ok with over ear headphones and want the most powerful bass buy Skullcandy Crusher Evo. It will rattle your bones. Using since 2020. Also have wired on ear one with good bass - Sony MDR-XB550AP. Also a good neckband - JBL Tune 125BT. Also a powerful iem - Fiio FH5. Also 3 pair of in ears - Sennheiser CX300s a superb pair. Remax RM535 basic with weak bass but good for rock. Finally Pioneer CH3 got today very thin wires but for sound. Total amount - 10.

Pro tip as a user; if you activate the Labs features for the double tap (volume up/down based on left/right), you can just tap you chin/ear area before the Buds and it'll register the vibration. I can do it too when I chew something like a nut/pistachio 😅

Enjoy them; they are very nice and I hope (truly) that the battery life will stay longer than the Buds Pro who started to fade out to 3 hours top after a year or so (and 2h30/2h15 after 18-24 months), in call. Not so much longevity 😊

What do you mean "lacking bass"???? I've had the buds since they were released and without any EQ profile the buds had more than enough bass. I also turned on the Dynamic EQ profile and I swear these buds are shaking in my ears. I've never come across any earbuds with that much bass, even the Airpods pro. Please, fix your review as it misleads.
