I'd like to see them do this with some better SoCs though. The phones I had that had SD 710 and 712 were very unimpressive. I'm still using one, the Mi 8 SE because it had really good custom ROM support later in it's life.

the good news is that 2023 version will take better photos and videos than Redmi Note 11 Pro with G96 because of better ISP. Also good Google Camera support +4k30 with EIS in it.

I wonder why Xiaomi are going bananas with all this rebrands and re-releases. The Redmi 12 series should be their main focus, but they want to recycle old phones. If they did that to good phones, that would be another story, but Redmi Note 11? Really?

Nice, well-balanced feature-rich phone. The only weakness was the poor battery life and the upgraded soc should fix that.

I'm amazed how did they even manage to find this cpu when even 720 and 730 series are out of stock. 4g smartphones are fading away and I guess they use everything that's left
