    This and a ChromeOS tablet like Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3/5 or HP Chromebook x2 11 should be an interesting battle.

      I'm fine wit all of the specs except the screen size. I will pre-order if they make a small one.

          I will probably try Google one or just buy Chrome tablet made by ... probably Lenovo, their Duels feels nice, and it seems someone actually used a brain cell making them.

They'll... moreYou have got to be kidding me, the Google Pixel tablet will be as cool as an iPad and will definitely be way better than any Galaxy Tab. Samsung's ecosystem is complete garbage, their mobile devices are the only good thing they have. Google's ecosystem will be as good as Apple's and will definitely surpass Samsung's.

                Once again,just like all their past tablets,Google cheapen the hardware and cripple what may have been a half decent device.
                The old nexus 7 inch lte was a nice tablet,but the tight fisted greedy bastards purposely crippled it,physically buggered the chips so that there was absolutely no chance of ever getting a dialer etc to work on it,so that no matter what software hacks turned up,you would never be able to use it as a proper phablet to make calls etc on.
                Otherwise,the 7 inch nexus lte was a very good device,cheap,compared to lots of other tablets,had the good old sd s4 Pro chip,a brilliant chip,decent display etc etc,but other firms,what really hcked me off was that the Asus version of the nexus COULD ,be used as a phablet,remember how tiny most phones were back then,i was still having to argue with folk that phones would keep getting bigger until we got to at least 6 inch displays as "normal" size,but most folk said I was stupid,folk wouldnt use such big devices cos you supposedly can't use big devices one handed,almost 10 years later and average size for phones is now 6 inch+,and it's now impossible to buy a decent speced 4.5/5 inch phone at any price,so excuse me while I blow my own trumpet a bit,but most of you proved to be completely wrong and I've been proved to be 100% correct in my prediction about display sizes,and it's happened for 2 simple good reasons,the folk who could afford big displays back then were older folk,with more disposable income BUT with eyesight starting to get a bit knackered from age,big screens are just simply easier to read/see and write on and nowdays,younger folk use their smartphones for doing everything on,many don't even have a lappy,let alone a desktop pc.
                I've still got my old nexus lte,but if I could get it to update ,I'd still be using the machine that realk kicked off tablets as decent devices,the now ancient Samsung gtp 1000,a proper phablet,a decent speced phones guts with a 7 inch display,,i still remember the looks people gave me when I use to use it as a big phone,but impossible to update past android 4,i think it,but might be Andy 5,couple of years since I took it out of my old phones draw,but I'll bet if I dig it out today,it probably still has a charge on its batteries and will fire straight up.
                This is sent from one of my lovely old Sammy note 4's,cos I love phones with proper stylus,briliant hardware,let down by sammys notoriously awful software,so note 4s need hard reset every 6 months or they big down badly.

                    Don't buy google pixel tablet. They'll just drop it after some time after release and ignore it. Track record shown us.

                    Get an ipad or Samsung tab instead

                      should have used mediatek kompanio 1300t instead of tensynos😤
                      dont tell me about mmwave. no gps so if you have an old car, and you want to navigate, then its useless. its just being produced for digital photo frame.

                            This tablet going to have the same fate as the Google very own chromebook that was discontinued by Google itself recently. Yup, Google itself discontinued the Chromebook 🤦🏻‍♂️

                                I haven't seen a headphone jack in any of the promo shots or clips, and Pixels do not get the benefit of the doubt on this.
