Leni Loud, 25 Sep 2022Are you saying that if Xiaomi improved its software support... moreXiaomi improving their software support? Lol, that will be the day.
They should first stop releasing 40 models per year. Stop putting ads all over the place on Redmi and Poco models. And then focus just on those 10 models they should release per year.
And maybe, after that they could reach a high quality software support. At least at the level of Samsung.
Until then, the only companies that offer good software support are Apple and Samsung. To some extent Google, but not in recent times.

25w is so embarrassing for the phone that is supposed to be the king of android flagships... i mean i get that they care about battery longevity but most people who get falgships would probably keep their phone for 2 to 3 years so the convenience of super fast 80/120w charging outweighs this benefit... also battery charging tech evolved so much that the argument fast charging destroys battery life becomes less true...

The only Android OEM that can match Apple's software support is Google, Google Pixel devices have already received the update to Android 13. You will most likely spend the rest of your life complaining to Xiaomi because they are obviously more focused on copying Dynamic Island.

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2022" And as long as it have no impact on Xiaomi battery 6... more" And as long as it have no impact on Xiaomi battery 60 celsius or more doesnt matter."

You cant be serious. Heat is extremely harmful for battery. You can easily see that battery endurance of any phone is even longer on colder days.
This is why is not good to use phones while charging, because they get very hot.

So, before knowing the price outside China you claim 12T Pro (aka K50 Ultra with 200mp) is better than flagships of other brands, now that you know it is gonna cost near 900 euros, it is trash?

            LOL

Man i am serious. Heat long time ago had impact on battery nowdays not so much because in charging brick and charging coild are so many protocols i mean defenses to not harm the battery one can assime its safe charging even at 60 or 70 celsius.
Bythe way to dissipate heat a phone cover can help greatly.
I use leather book case which i use as a wallet too to reduce some heat.

And finaly 12T is a Trash. Yes it will get latest 200 Mpix camera which is cool but what not cool is a 2 Mpix support camera here. Its like a joke on the customers.
            Anyone will understand that.
And for that case it couldnt cost 900.
Even Motorola 30 Edge Ultra have better support cameras and also came up with 200 Mpix and a 900 eur pricetag.
I really dont believe that Xiaomi will cost more than 700 with such a trash support cameras and average specs apart one cool main camera.

unxpctd, 25 Sep 2022With LG gone, they have no need to innovate anymore. That w... moreXiaomi. If they only improved their software part and not release 500 phones every year that would be great. They could be top player, but instead they are just mediocre at best. They decided to charge like they're a top player which just made them worse in the end. In the past price was their biggest pro, but now they basically screwed that up too. Between their high end model costing 1000€ and iPhone costing the same, I'll always pick iPhone or a Galaxy S model. They cost the same, have similar specs but million times better software support wise. Which is why I'm constantly whining about this with Xiaomi. Just improve the damn software support and they'd be top player easily.

With LG gone, they have no need to innovate anymore. That was their only true competition.

Motorola is nowhere in the same league / Sony charges so much they people write them off prematurely / ASUS is practically unknown and doesn't play carrier games / Google has a negative brand image. / OnePlus has a history of turning it's customer's sour and the popped bubble of the 9 Pro hype really did not help the company (in fact the camera was worse than the 8 Pro... so much for Hassleblad).

Who is their competition in the Android world anymore!? Chinese brands like Huawei, VIVO, and IQOO? Huawei is the natural one but ever since they got screwed over by the US government, it can't happen now.

                          To all,
Samsung is not the most powerful Android gaming device, neither it's the best in photography (only in main camera details and crazy zoom, it's the best) but it is a great all rounder and comes with stylus! To those saying Samsung isn't doing innovation, they are kinda also focusing on folds and flips.. Yes even they are not improved every year that much, I accept. 1 hour charging time is not bad! 2 hours is though. 1 hours is still great for most. I would prefer 30 mins full charge though hands down..
Now those saying 120 w and 150 w charging damages battery, it will damage only if it heats it. And the fast chargers don't! I mean literally if Samsung and apple are at 45°, the super fast chargers are nothing more than 47-48° celcius. I have used 120 w charging phones as well and the battery health deteriorates no worse than other phones! If you don't agree, don't worry, buy a 25 w brick and use it instead! And only use 120w when in a hurry.. You don't get chargers with Samsung or apple so it should not hurt! 120w charging will be great for emergency..
Now again those claiming wrong stuffs about 65w, say a phone has 5000 mah and 65 w charging, it uses dual cell technology, that means it will have two batteries of 2500 mah each and both are gonna be charged at 32.5w each! I mean you had to target 65 w! It is literally very safe! And it can charge in about 30 ish minutes.. if samsung does below 40 mins, it's great.. Personally speaking, Samsung and apple are not doing anything new. Sony is doing new but a lot of things they do are wrong. Also you can't blame sony! They preserved slow charging but they also preserved headphone jack and micro sd card support! Lol they even gave an HDMI port on one of their devices. Chinese devices are actually doing a lot of innovation right now. Vivo X80 pro has the best camera, Redmagic and Rog are the best gamers (Rog is Taiwanese though). And about pixel, they are..I don't know what exactly they want from pixel themselves. It has the best optimization for camera. It's 12 MP is much more detailed than Samsung, Apple or any other brand's 12 MP. How ever they never used flagship Sd chipsets and now are using tensor. Tensor on 6a or even 6 is fine. But for 6pro, it is not the best there. I mean Google is making kind of a midranger and flagship combo in a price segment full of flagship killers.. I mean good for camera but then you get chinese flagships starting around at that price with amazing performance and still great camera..
Right now, maybe the 12 S ultra, Vivo X80 pro is doing good, but I will chose Samsung Galaxy S22ULTRA on the top. As I really love that stylus and it's a great polished all rounder. But ya even they aren't Innovating much these days. Then I will go for X80 pro and then Xiaomi 12S Ultra. I just don't like iOS because I like freedom so I haven't kept that anywhere. But since I don't care for videography, I would have kept it after 12S Ultra (if it was Android). I do use night mode a lot (yes Samsung is also not exceptional there) and for games, Androids are better. Not by much though. I mean I just don't like the flat camera of iphones. But still a better device than pixel and all.. (as an all rounder that is) infact it's really confusing. In real life maybe I would have gone for pixel for being much cheaper. It's not a bad performer either..

Another year, another copy-paste Galaxy. What with the constant reports that Samsung execs are throttling the R&D pursestrings, I'll be amazed if they even manage a camera update. Battery, display, speakers, haptics, sensors etc... not been updated in years.

Techgeek91, 24 Sep 2022Just one question....when will samsung and apple adopt atle... moreSamsung already has decent charging speed on their S line-up. With 25W charger it charges in about 60 minutes. Almost the same as with 45W charger (in the case of S22 Ultra). Maybe 2-3 minutes less in the end. That's because it's all done through software tweaks in the battery compartment.
As for iPhones, they charge ok-ish until 80-85%. But after that is game over, takes ages to reach 100%. Apple is doing this through software (the same like Samsung), with every iPhone model and no matter what charger you use (to protect the battery and maintain a high battery health percentage in time). If you have a Pro Max model it shouldn't be a problem. 85-90% battery will get you through 1 day with no problem (even with heavy usage). For other smaller models, is more tricky.

As for all those Chinese models with super fast chargers, I doubt they maintain the battery health too high in time. I had two different models with 65W charging speeds. And both had strange behavior in battery compartment after just 2 months. In the sense that the battery started depleting very rapidly (maximum 3-4h of SoT; even though in the beginning I had 5-6h with no problem). Also, the battery was inconsistent in depleting (I will loose from 80% to 60% in 30 minutes, then from 60% to 40% in 2 hours, for similar tasks performed on the phone). So yeah, I am skeptical about the battery longevity of such smartphones.
