nahh, i ever never use face id.
it just spy using made, nothing more or else.
but i think ,moustly apple users,they face are many countries database even if you dont use faceid..front cam take your face piscs...just click..and send it.you can count of it.
might be another phone do it also, what use face id... its os easy
think...why faceid? its luaghing when you round your face when you wach your phone.
also its average security,just face copy is enough to broke it,its seen many times.
whats wrong is 4-5 digits or fingerprint id? nothing.
i guess, soon its coming must id for phones, i guess 1st apple.
i hope there coming phone without fron cam...many users really dont need it.

I'd like to know when and by what means this requirement was implemented and hopefully find a way around it (including changing OS ver) as it is annoying as F especially when at a service counter, amongst crowds or need unlock to use an app quickly

Apple's solution for full screen phone is a huge notch then evolve it into an ugly pill shape cut out. They could have made a centered punch hole front cam and fingerprint reader on apple logo at the back then upgraded it to ultrasonic.

What they should do is make the circle area of the camera be moved mechanically. Pretty much every thing will move except the glass whenever the camera was opened. Once closed itll close and everything back to normal. Im sure it can be done just have to make that circle be same res and fps and the exact mms as the main big screen so it doesnt show cutouts in videos and such from low fps or bad res on it. Im sure that can be done. Just make the circle lower down and slide to the side.

Considering that current under display camera technology is awful, it would be gross having 2 visible pixel dots on screen but if they make it right and improve the quality, it would be fine. Still don't like the idea having 2 cameras (one above and one down), it's my personal preference and you can only stay mad about that 🤷🏻♂️

It&#... moreApple does it because they have too much acclaimed money and even more office-boys to write the code, Samsung can't do it because Chinese is very different from English or Sanskrit &c++&html. They landed us at this dynamic Island, guess what that ching can't be designed, apple did it one attempt. Ul can't be adjusted like that, is so i could have designed it in 2007.
Ask samsung who' idea was tigen watch interface, that would be me. Not all ideas are profitable.

It's just an idea being explored, and quite interesting one, that could not only improve the security but improve the quality of UDC's. Or would you prefer Samsung to add a "galactic island" instead? 🤭

Just another nail in the "privacy" coffin. Nothing to do with "safety", or "security". This is a way to create accurate 3D models of human faces for facial recognition. This will complement the social credit score nicely
