Android 6 or newer is fully functional app compatibility the same so yeah

As long as the software is stable and works don't break what's not broken updates just make smartphones slower anyway

Same I don't see the big fuss anymore

Well, you clearly lack the IQ to perform such task so I'll give you a helping hand :

        1. Usability : Newer Android versions always introduce new features and better support for available technologies such as audio and video codecs, connectivity protocols etcetera. Those help devices take advantage of already existing hardware in a better way.

        2. User Experience : Newer updates, even ones that are unrelated to Android versions, allow OEMs to improve user experience by polishing their hardware and implementing User Interface changes that revive devices and gives them a new feel.

        3. Performance : Related to the aforementioned point regrading polishing hardware. Newer updates allow OEMs to optimize their hardware and extract better performance out if it, be it camera optimizations that improve image processing or even chipset tweaks that help devices perform better overall.

        4. Bug fixing : It is not particularly new for OEMs to drop half baked systems that don't function as intended. Thankfully, updates exist to solve such problems and save users the hassle of dealing with underperforming and sometimes even broken devices.

There you go. Hopefully this will also show you that it's really not that hard to use your brain to put out your thoughts in a well articulated manner instead of acting like a child.

Are all aspects of the phone working properly? You're just an update junkie. "Oh look at me with my latest version of Android". What's the difference between its predecessor? "Oh, i dunno. Stuff. But still, I got the latest version! Whoop dee doo"!

Still waiting on the promised update for my Axon 7. Never buy a ZTE phone. I don't mind the Chinese spyware because they sell the phone below cost, but the lack of support and updates make it a no buy.

Spanky, 26 Sep 2022I wonder how much longer OEMs can milk the Snapdragon 870. 😒atleast they dont use sh*tty snapdragon 680 and 695. 870 is still worth it in 2022. especially at $200 price range.

now, would you prefer poco f3 or zte axon 30s?

kanaaka, 26 Sep 2022still a good modern soc, why not?Exactly. What is the guy expecting, an 8+ gen 1 on a $300 phone? Then they're a clown.

If not, probably a Dimensity 8100? Sadly, Mediatek SoCs will never reach the level of optimization as well as the Snapdragon's. So 870 is the perfect SoC to go with that price.

Definitely best choice in term of specs-price it if this is launched globally. Software is something that you can learn later. but the 4200 mah battery capacity seems underwhelming but let see after if gsmarena will review this device.

This is exactly what i need for me & my son, where & when i can find this ZTE A30S in Indonesia
                              - SD870 ( great processor without heat problem), i have it on MiPad5
                              - 6,92"( good for our eyes, who stare screens more than 5h a day)
                              - 12/256 (no need to worry about the spaces anymore),
                              - 4200maH 55W (quick enough to recharge, reduce our hunger to recharge as soon as it goes below 60%)

But Dimensity 8000 is also good for non heavy gamer and who need more power efficient SoC.

They are newer SoC which has smaller transistor size. 870 is too old. It's 865+..

Wow! this is an awesomely specced phone. SD870 is still one of the best optimized chips around even when compared to DM8100. Adreno is still the best when it comes to games, emulations etc. Hoping Xiaomi will released a BlackShark with under-display-cam sefie as well.
