I'm a big fan of the Samsung S series, I have used them since the S10. However, 25w charging is rather slow now and not good enough for a flagship.

UltraHD, 26 Sep 2022How exactly is bad for battery? Because i've been usin... moreYou get 2 units of same device. Phone that supports 100W for example.
Unit 1 will be charged with 12W charger.
Unit 2 will be charged with 100W charger
As days go by, battery of unit 2 will be weaker compared to unit 1.
His tweet also mentions, those claims 80% capacity afte 1600 cycles is lie. He says battery is never tested at fast charging speeds. Whole thing is explained there. Even photos of the tests.

What’s funny is that the iPhone 13 Pro Max was proven to have a maximum charging speed of 27W via a PD charger.
I’ve said it before that after Samsung got busted by the internet for their fake 45W, they have finally decided to really stick to 25W. It’s like Samsung copying Apple, but on a marketing scale, not a hardware scale if you get what I mean.
13 Pro Max’s 27W compared to Samsung’s 25W.
Apple has more than Samsung (unless an aftermarket 45W charger actually charges Samsungs faster than Samsung’s own fake “45W” charger)
It’s not much more at all and it’s not that significant being just 2W more, but still.
Apple. Had. More. Watts. Than. Samsung.
HOW?!

UltraHD, 26 Sep 2022When will Samsung and Apple step up with charging speed? It... moreUntil Apple does it I think Samsung will not! since apple increases fast charge Samsung will first make fun of them because they have 45w for a long time, and then they will copy apple as always

Andrei F ( former Anandtech ) on twitter about fast charging of chinese phones , because iqqo 10 pro 200W
" Again, stupid charging quotes continue to br spread. Big secret, those 1600 cycles are not at 200W, they're standardised at 10-15W. No vendor is ever goi g to give you a charge cycle number degradation rate at the advertised max charge rate because it's going to be bad.
I've seen the documentation of the TÜV cycle results of Oppo, the battery isn't even inside the phone , they're just testing the cell externally with an industrial cycle/capacity tester. You will not see the TÜV testing documentation because that's how they make money. "
He even posted photos of how battery is tested .....
