There are certain unique features that each phone company spunks out from time to time that should be exclusive to that phone alone. For example, material UI theming is a feature that was started by Google but it was bound to be adopted, this wasn't copied. Hole punch selfie captions is also another feature that was bound to be carried on by phone companies regardless of who started it first. Fingerprint readers, whether under display or physical was also another feature that everyone adopted, including apple for some of their ipads. Those are trends that people wanna get on their phones as soon as they come out. Gesture navigation as well, the iPhone X was the first to get it but it was easily going to be wanted by everyone and it can't be classified as an apple exclusive idea cuz other companies had similar integrations before that.

For example, Samsung introduced the "Quick toggles" for various settings before Android and iOS copied them, around 2010, in some of their feature phones running TouchWiz (then soon introduced them to their Android ones):

                              I dont see any reason for Samsung to applies permanent notification badge like those on iPhone notification island, if it had already found far better way to handle it.

                              Also, the way iPhone shows Always on display and lock screen editing is half-baked compared to Samsungs.

                                Tried this phone today. The weight is great. Very similar in hand feel to the Honor 70. Would prefer a single punch hole but i don't think the pill is a deal breaker. The main camera is decent but it produces quite dark photos (much darker than the eye sees). That is a characteristic of most Xiaomi phones this year though. The Xiaomi 12 and 12s do the same but the 12x produces much brighter photos for some reason. The shutter speed is very good on this phone. Faster than the 12s ultra and similar to the 12s and 12s pro. The main camera is a big improvement for Xiaomi midrangers. The ultrawide is weak though. The photos seemed really poor from that sensor. It's the same imx376k sensor that was used as a secondary sensor on the Oneplus 6 (a 20mp sensor with pixel binning). Definitely much weaker than the Omnivision 13mp one on the Xiaomi 12x and 12s. Overall much better than thr original Civi. Lack of stereo speakers is a bit disappointing but the single one seemed decent in quality

While Android UI makers (Samsung especially) try to bring as many UI elements down for easier reach, do you like to do finger gymnastics all day long to play with buttons up top?

                                      Just one camera 48 or 32 mp with Ois (if they can ) or at least Eis is enough with good image processing.

                                      The problem here is xiaomi losing quality and producing phones without thinking and now people start to look for other options
