doofy, 30 Sep 2022What a waste of time and can these controllers be used as a... moreNo they pretty much only work with Stadia i returned the one I got and just bought a PS5 Controller instead, I admit Google kinda crapped out on the whole thing the only good deal being $22 for a Chromecast and Stadia Controller for their Anniversary

Anonymous, 30 Sep 2022now I want to use stadia controllers for other thingsUnfortunately Stadia controllers use Wifi to connect to Stadia and doesnt work with anything but Stadia even wired. I got one hoping it would be multipurpose but it didn’t even work for Rocket League. Returned and got a PS5 Controller instead

Stadia probably sold about 2 million units. 111 million is the Switch sales number as of June 30, 2022. If Stadia had sold 111 million units, it would have been one of the most successful consoles in history.

This is why I will never buy into cloud gaming or cloud based media, you don’t really own anything. I will only buy physical media as long as it’s still being made. Stadia was dead on arrival much like Playstation Now.

Tbh we're paying their free stuff with our data so it's not exactly free for us but new things are always welcome. Especially publicly done. If they fail they fail... Richest person on the world almost filled for bankruptcy... but the new things pushed him back to the top. I'm sorry for Picasa but that's pretty much it. ARA was more rummor than test... i wish to see it live.. some AR projects didn't work as well as needed so they're dismissed... But yeah it's a shame wen it's not what we're hoped for after all... so you're right. My point is that it isn't just white and black... Stadia and others are ahead of it's time, internet simply isn't at that level... otherwise it's kinda worth it... for 120-200$ a year you can run any game you want 😉 no need for hardware changes... i spend 5k every few years, but i earn money from it not just game. Which comes to my mind, why not to offer Cloud based Pro apps. Imagine paying monthly for extremely fast rendering speeds... no imput lags, no fast connection required and no hardware on the market to compete with that anyway...

There are other portable gaming handsets out there like GPD, onexplayer or the aya neo brand which is like a Nintendo Switch + Qwerty keyboard. That is gaining more popularity than cloud gaming.
Now that we have a steam deck. Plus new mobile windows gaming console from GPD, Aya Neo, Onexplayer, AOKZOE, and others utilizing the power of AMD Ryzen 5000 and 6000 series. Cloud Gaming might already be dead!

So is more possible that IOS loose over android.
