What a waste of time and can these controllers be used as a generic Bluetooth controller? Seems a waste to the planet and Google one of the worst for this.

When Valve launch the steam deck. Stadia was already doomed. Especially for the fact that you don't have to re-purchase those games that you've already owned on steam library!

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2022Just don't shut down android. I will die. No iOS for me.Lol, all their profit comes from Android. So, they will not do this.
Google shut downs everything that isn't profitable. And Stadia wasn't profitable.
They bet on it and they lost.
And now with the introduction of powerful portable consoles (like Steam Deck), I am guessing cloud gaming will be even less popular.

Hamad1993, 29 Sep 2022Who cares about it? Everyone owns and play on Switch lolYou seems to have ruffled some Nintendo haters. While their online services are really bad, those guys still know how to make appealing games. These people keep boasting about hardware which the average Switch user doesn't lose sleep over with.

Typical Google. I was expecting this for 6 months already.
Had Google Stadia Pro at the beginning, for couple of months. I even bought an expensive Chromebook just for it.
The connection was nice and had even 4k, if I remember. Better connection than xcloud or GeForce Now at that time. But the game library was very poor. And it remain like that even after 3-6 months. Google didn't invest in it at all. Is like they were expecting tens of millions of subscribers from first month, lol. And when that didn't happened, they just forget about it.

AnonD-1066415, 30 Sep 2022Had both Nintendo Switch and the Switch Lite. Nice portable... moreIt depends on the game, some games are for adults and some games are for all ages, I am in my 40's and prefere the switch over other consoles, I don't mind playing colorful games like mario racing or fortnite.
The sales of the switch are still high, Nintendo eventually will release a more powerful console to compete with new trend of portable gaming PC's.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2022Only over 111 million people. It's on track to become ... moreHad both Nintendo Switch and the Switch Lite. Nice portable consoles. But the games look childish (like mobile games) and they were more expensive than PS or Xbox games.
Also, with the introduction of gaming stream services, like Game Pass or PS Plus, the Nintendo Switch is even more unappealing to me. Being that Nintendo doesn't have a similar service like that.
Not to mention when Steam Deck will become available in more parts of the World. Much more powerful console.
If Nintendo will release some Pro model that will be much more powerful, maybe they will look more appealing to me. But that will not happen for at least 2 years.

Hamad1993, 29 Sep 2022Who cares about it? Everyone owns and play on Switch lolWait ! Can I really own a switch or is it still property of Ni***do after buying it?

                                    It was coming.
please remind me What was the last google launch which was successful?

                                      Hello,

There was no need to listen to a seer to know this would have happened.
The same with Google Lens, Airbus A380, etc.
