I have a five+ years old Note 9, completely dinged up, cracked front and rear. It's been laying in a drawer for over three years. It does not have a swollen battery. According to your "Science", this means your sources are liars and I am all the facts.

Arun Maini (whosetheboss) has hundreds of phones bought over the years and stored at room temperature, yet out of all of those, only the Samsung phones had their batteries swollen. He clearly mentioned that all other phones were okay. So there indeed is a battery problem which Samsung needs to address asap

Most of samsung user (including myself) have never experienced the problem at all. I personally prefer Samsung phone over any chinese phone.

I also have bloating battery problem with my old unused Xiaomi, but i am not a youtuber. So yes, it also happens in other phone brands and nothing to be worried about, because only experienced by small number of people.
