Li-ion batteries really don't like sitting around fully discharged because chemistry in them tends to go wonky in those scenarios. 50% charge is ideal for Li-ion and stored in somewhat colder and dry place.

Now that can happen to any brand of phone but weirdly it's happening just in Samsung phones so something definitely wrong there. I've stored my phones before, and still there are a few lying there since months without use, but their batteries are still okay. Battery swelling has only happened to one of my phones and that was a dumb phone that I bought for $20 so maybe Samsung is using cheaper batteries but could be anything else as well

It's not true raw because it doesn't contain raw data (only demosaiced data, which is "cooked" or "baked" if you go by the whole raw analogy). The practical difference being that with ProRaw, you no longer have any control over the demosaicing process. With true raw, you can get different outputs from different raw developer applications because they use different processes (moreover, you can get better outputs from the same raw files as raw developers advance and improve their processing). Also, you have more control over sharpness, noise reduction, etc., which is a part of why you would shoot raw in the first place.

The "issue" here wasn't that, but the fact that this guys I replied to doesn't even know what ProRAW is or what DNG is and making claims that ProRAW isn't actually real RAW even though it's in fact that and even more because of extra available post process layers.

And yes, ProRaw and Expert RAW do de-mosaic the raw data, unlike many other companies' stacked raws (google, vivo, etc.), and do not retain the raw data.
Also, ProRaw file sizes can occasionally be larger than normal raw files despite their compression due to the demosaicing, since raw files only contain values for one color per pixel (due to bayer design), but linear DNG files have to include values for all the three colors in each pixel (emphasis on "can be larger", because compression varies between different pictures).

Samsung, you aren't supposed to process a RAW, that's the main reason we would want a RAW file to begin with. But hey, my S21 FE has the color temperature values inverted in the pro mode and nobody seems to care, so why would they care about this as well.

Apple's ProRAW format is RAW+post-processing data stored in single DNG file where post-processing data is SEPARATED in multiple layers/stages. You can only use RAW sensor data, or you can use RAW and denoising layer, but not sharpening and color correction. Or you can use it all and still get same output as HEIC stored image, but you have control over output compression and you can avoid double compressiong as you can export it as JPG directly instead of first having it stored as HEIC and then recompressed to JPG.
DNG files can be smaller than regular "raw" RAW files because it's using lossless compression. Lossless compression does not degrade any quality.
This is what Apple's ProRAW really is, not your useless mumbojumbo.

I am no... moreAs a samsung users in last 2 years, i never experienced this battery problem at all and still has 89% battery health after more than 800 charging cycles (accu battery pro stats). I am super happy with my Samsung compared to my last experience with old Xiaomi phones for 6 years time of use.
My next new phone will be Samsung. I will never use chinese phone again.

S20 Ultra - one of the last updates totally messed my camera, it does not focus for photos no matter what. Similar thing happened to another friend with a S20. How can these Samsung b@'£$@ds can get away with it? Everytime there is an update from Samsung I fear the worst. Greedy pieces of crap trying to make you buy a new phone every 2years

Samsung needs to look into it, they allegedly even tried to cover it up after arun (whosetheboss) mailed them about the problem but after no reply after many days he finally made the video and lot of others are talking about their exact same experience with their Samsung phones
