Hello brother, I have this problem after updating to Android 12. When using the phone, the screen freezes and does not work.

Never had any problems in approximately 3 years of good service. Except the battery went dead on day and the phone never turned on back. Technician said the motherboard gone. Had some good falls. All in all, a great phone.

Tried everything.
I bought it in June 2021.
The phone is on and I turn on the wifi, the phone just freezes.
Takes forever to display the Facebook, Instagram, etc notifications.
It never did that before.
Sigh.
Even the Samsung Galaxy Orbit J3 is

Updated my A11 to android 12 on Oct.16,2022. Right after update, the phone started to act up. Issues included ghost touch, screen flickering and momentary phone freeze.
Did everything to address issues from safe mode, app updates and finally, phone factory reset. The issues did not go away.
Phone was fine and stable before update and the display screen is flawless.
Phone call to Samsung support did not bear fruit.
Anybody experience the same?

On the one hand I'm happy that Samsung still cares about the security of their old smartphone software, but on the other hand I wonder how crappy the performance is with the mismatched combination of Android 12 with Snapdragon 450, but I hope Samsung can handle it.

And Apple only release few devices every years and it's not cheap so it's their responsibility to give more and better software update

Also, it doesn't matter so much the Android version. Far more important are the security updates. And Samsung does a very good job in here (similar with Apple, keeping in mind that Samsung has far more models to take care of). Entry level phones from 3 years ago (like Galaxy A20e or Galaxy A40) are still receiving quarterly security updates and will receive security updates also next year. That means 4 years of security updates for some 200EUR entry level phones. That is very nice.
