yalim, 04 Oct 2022sony was the best and samsung was the worst in terms of sof... moreYou probably never used Sony before, They are pretty suck in terms of software update & fix the bugs, they only give 2 years OS update for flagship that cost more than $1000 but Samsung can give 3 year OS update for their device that cost $300 only, I have Xperia XZ2 compact before, not only they just give 2 OS update but they also never fix the bugs that come before they discontinued software support for this device, the issues like ghost touch never got fixed since Android 9 and even after android 10 they left this bug just like that without fixing before discontinued software update.

Why is this news? It's Samsung standard policy for their non-flagship hardware (and select A models) to get 2 years of updates. The A11 was released with Android 10, so it will get until Android 12, the last OS upgrade. Nothing new here. Samsung is one of the best in terms of updates in Android.

sony was the best and samsung was the worst in terms of software upgrades for a long time.samsung improved itself significantly by oneUI after 2018 (my s9 received even portrait mode,night mode,wireless dex,swipe nav gestures etc).now they are among the best in android together with pixel and sony. timely,stable and long term updates.keep up the good work.
