Xiaomi does the same, as its EU offerings are pricier than those sold in their local markets. I don't see the 12T Pro as competitive, but if you do, go ahead and buy one.

We all know India is slapping some "luxury" nonsense tax on products like iPhones, go complain to them for doing this... This isn't Apple's fault if India is taxing products with insane "premiums". Just like Apple has NO control over the fact that EU charges VAT for any product sold in EU. They sell it for $799 to Europe, then EU charges VAT on top of that. And the end price is what we actually pay for the product. That's NOT Apple's fault. That's not me yet again defending Apple because I'm fan or whatever, it's me explaining you how economy works.

The 12T is overpriced for the quality and support it offers, at least compared to Samsung's, Apple's or Google's offerings.

It's why vanilla iPhone is $799 in USA and 999€ in Europe. If you REMOVE VAT (which is usually in the neighborhood of 20%), you get around 800€. Would you look at that. You can't even do basic math... There is probably some extra slapped on top for additional logistics and profits of merchants, but not much. We're talking 20-100€ depending on model and merchant.
So, again, stop making s**t up just because you need to whine about Apple. It's what you all do, just lie about everything Apple. It's also annoying I need to argue about this crap in Xiaomi article, but I just can't be quiet when you knobs talk such absolute nonsense.

Sorry, but I don't think the 12T Pro is a good buy. Personally, I'd take the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra instead. That has a complete wide/ultrawide/telephoto camera setup and USB-C 3.1 with video output and Ready For Desktop Mode support. Also, that Motorola phone will also get three major OS update.
I am definitely eyeing the vanilla 12T simply because of that Dimensity SoC.

Why does the 12T Series weigh the same as the 11T Series when the Gorilla Glass Vuctus is downgraded, the frame is made of plastic, and the body size is slightly smaller?

The other poster isn't wrong. Majority don't need more than 256GB while most phones are sold in 32-128GB category. Market doesn't work for niches.
And 274 is still a long way off from 512. A bit more budget and you'll find 512GB options easily to suit you. If you want cheaper then don't expect this feature-set.
I'm not saying it's good that the SD Card slot has died. I'm saying it hasn't had as much of an impact as the 3.5mm jack. Even that impact is lessening everyday.
And that $2 thing is overly obnoxious. You praise Sony for including an SD Card slot. How much does a Sony phone cost, again? $2 well spent?

You are NOT representative of the basic users on android or even Iphone.
256 Go is enought for 99% of the people in the world !!
