S22+ , 5iv and moto edge 30 ultra all were announced below 1000 euros.
Even crap iphone 14 plus costs more than 1000 while missing tons of stuff these phones have.
USA is only place android phones cost as much as iphones.

Availability depends on which European country though. A 75% mark up on Chinese prices is a bit steep given the only difference is the main camera sensor. I think they could probably have given 256gb for the price of the base variant (€750)

The Redmi 11T Pro has an 8 MP UW, and a not so flagship level CPU.

Just take photo at 1x, step away and take with digital zoom. Make sure both frames are equal.
Then compared both . First photo is better .
