At the start of the 23' I will be choosing between Pixel 7, Xiaomi 13 or S23+. iPhone is not for me, I don't need the most powerful chipset. Also, I don't like too big phones. Around 155mm height for me is ideal. Also, flat screen. If the Xioami 13's screen won't be that curved as the 12, I will 100% buy it. If not, then S23+. If there won't be a Snapdragon vesion in my country, then Pixel 7. I'll import it, if necessary.

Motorola 30 edge ultra cost litterary the same and offers a lot better specs for asking price.
Google is nothing but overpriced midranger with untested CPU not worth the money.
5 years of updates wont cut anything if internals gets very outdatred for new apps in 5 years.

I want one but it's not officially available in my country. I could get one off the gray market but the software region lock means I don't get 5G.. So essentially I would be buying what is equivalent to a cheaper 4G iphone with good cameras and bloat free software but without warranty and official service centers.

If i want decent photos,I use a "real" camera,if I want super duper photos,I use 35mm film,cos nothing digital comes close to the trillions of data points that a silver oxide negative contains..

We already bought two Samsung phones and an iPhone this week so probably gonna wait till Christmas before I pick one of these up. The camera is worth the money on Pixels.
P.S the iPhone happens to be the first apple device I've used in years so might get some iPhone next. All the iOS optimisations do help make the phone operation lag free and hassle free. It just works, as they say
