Gister, 07 Oct 2022The bezels too thick for 2023It's not a phone. Phones can have slim bezels because you can hold them with one hand. On the other hand, you generally hold a tablet with two hands. If bezels are too slim, your hands will cover the screen.

Super Android 22, 07 Oct 2022Oppo Find Series do it, after a certain time it'll cha... moreI have the Pixel 6a, 5a and 4a. The 4a charges properly with every charger I have. The 5a and 6a don't charge properly with a 20W USB-PD charger I have, but charge fine with a 65W USB-PD charger from the same brand. These chargers are also able to do 18W non PD charging on a USB-A port and that works fine as well even on the 20W charger. I'm not sure what google changed between the 4a and 5a, but I've noticed similar behavior. My guess is that my 20W chargers aren't able to negotiate 18W for the Pixel 6a properly via PD.

dbjungle, 07 Oct 2022Macbooks have this feature where it will adaptively charge ... moreOppo Find Series do it, after a certain time it'll charge my phone and it'll stop at 80% till about 7-8am which it'll then finish charging.
When I had the 6 pro with "adaptive charging" on it just slowed the charging more than normal which normally its a 2-4 hour charge (using Huawei 66w super charger but I think my 6 pro was just utterly broken, wouldn't work with the cable for the charger and I went in to a tech store, they tried a fast charger and it charged about 3% in 10 minutes), didn't seem time specific it just literally nerfed the charging (maybe it was a bug, who knows with the pixels).

A tablette will be at least 8.0" so having small bezzel will make it slippery , so its better to have bezzel to avoid that + issue of finger touching screen

It will keep the battery between a certain range to protect the device. It works pretty well. Some Android phones and tablets have these features too. Pixel phones have adaptive charging. Lenovo tablets can keep the battery within a certain range.

Btw, that implementation of Material You is absolutely exciting compared to other Android skins.
