Alright lads,
Let's pretend that your opinion matters and argue about products you'll never gonna buy.

As for Google, I hope my 7 Pro will have less issues 6 Pro had, I know Pixel phones always had their big share of strange issues but 6 Pro was my first Pixel that gave me real life problems because of it.

      Let’s hope for the best.

Low. Charging rates, same as last year. Why they advertise at 30w, when neither does it, is beyond me.

But, it is the tok cycle, and it want going to be revolutionary.

On the upside, improved chip, improved camera features. Unlock via face. Improved FP speeds. Better looking camera bar. Less curve. Brighter screen.

        I'm happy

Doesn't matter to me, I'm team pixel all the way. I can't stand one UI, and don't get me started on what OnePlus turned into. One plus was my go-to. New chip, lighter and smaller dimensions for the new seven series, not to mention 25% brighter screen on both models. I'll take it. Just pre-ordered the seven non-Pro.

pixel will be out of production few years later just like stadia

The 1st gen Pixel watch is just the beginning. Google was too committed on this to change before launch. I think next year's watch will be very different on internals. Time will tell on durability of the dome style face, but it can be improved on. I like what Google is doing here. If they commit and stay focused on the Pixel line this time around, and don't try and kill hundred's of other boneheaded things, I believe Google can finally give customers a true alternative to Apple's eco system of bland, boring products.

I disagree with the article. The Pixel 6 was a very nice hardware refresh compared to other slabs, and I'm assuming the lack of innovation the article is referring to is incremental upgrades this time around. However, the refinement and photography prowess of the Pixel 7 Pro is what makes this a superb upgrade. Time will tell on the modem, but compared to other phone slabs, I think Google has done a great job and it's design is refreshing. Also, Google is likely to use Samsung's new 3nm process for it's future phones and tablets. I see great things by Google if they don't screw it up!

They just had a major redesign and overall upgrade. Refining it once is fine considering its look is still pretty unique among androids. And I agree on googles stance to improve the software. And the tensor has decent chops, just needs to work on its efficiency. we've hit a power cap for a few years now most phones would do great at the snapdragons 855 level.

Let's not forget that Pixel Watch also hides features that are available on the other watches under the Fitbit Premium subscription, requiring a constant drip of money for a basic feature like sleep tracking, for example.

The ability to use unblur and correct blurry photos even those taken on other phones is a pretty good innovation if it works. Hardware innovation from phone brands is very rare (unless counting the processor in phones that have their own self designed processors). When there is hardware innovation it is usually not from phone manufacturers but rather from component suppliers

But even ignoring Apple, other brands have this issue in 2022 too.

And the worst, where they are not sold officially, 5G does not work, I just need to know if Google corrected that detail to decline the purchase or not!

It depends what could be called lack of innovation.

But in the most regular sense, Pixel is not the only one with that issue, Samsung even with their foldables has this issue too this year.

Same goes for Apple, Sony and others, there is not much left to “innovate” in phones at this point, the only thing left is to enhance the software experience.

And in my opinion that last one is the most important thing left, by this point making hardware any better had diminishing returns and only hikes up the price.
