Lol. Apple is ok with 14 being exactly same as 13 (even the processor and everything else including the screen) apart from crash detection and satellite thing (which will cost after 2 years) but pixel lacks Innovation. Well screw that GSMArena. You are lowering yourself.

Have you looked at ANY Apple related article? It's just endless complaining over things that aren't even true. I'm actually using an iPhone and I can first hand see what's true and what isn't and I'm constantly correcting or disproving them. But that doesn't matter, because in your clueless eyes, you believe those people just making s**t up and see me as "religiously defending Apple". Why don't you wonder why I'm "religiously defending Apple"? Eh? It's because of all this made up nonsense people say about iPhones is why I hesitated to even try one. Until I did anyway for other reasons and noticed 99% of things they say about iPhones are just straight up lies. You see now?

I think there are some interesting useful Pixel 7 innovations
1. SuperRes Zoom
2. Photo unblur and Magic Eraser for any photo.
3.Guided Frame for Selfies for low vision people
Improved Real Tone in low light
Faster Night sight camera for low light
Haptic feedback when zooming through different camera lenses.
Get the best in between lenses photos. For example 3x or 4x using advanced ML, super resolution techniques.
3.improved call clarity with clear calling to filter out background noise.
4. Built in VPN protection.
5. DirectmyCall let you see menu options when you call businesses even before they tell the options. Especially banks
Callscreen automatically screens calls for spam
Holdforme uses Google to hold the call for you when you are put on hold
Waittimes let's you know the waiting time you are put on hold.
6. Improved voice assisted typing including saying out emojis.
7. Use stabilisation for videos on Snap and Instagram.

But, does anybody really innovate nowadays? I mean improving the cameras, changing the design or adding some gimmicks each and there is not innovating.
The gap between cheaper phones and more expensive ones is not so great like it use to be.
And the real question is, It is really necessary to buy an expensive phone? Maybe it is or maybe it isn't. But one thing is certain, nobody is innovating anymore.

What? I get the cinematic recording mode might not excite people, but absolutely everybody hates when you try to shoot a moment and it comes out blurred and the moment is gone. If it works it will be amazing for the average user too. You think a parent trying to shoot photos of their kids or pets wouldn't care about this?

This article is so wrong on different levels.
Had it be apple, they would be applauded for the "minimal and next-to-nothing" innovation they placed on the Iphone 14 line up.
That said, Google introduced some notable improvements with the Pixel 7 line. Aside from those announced and obvious features, they substantially improved the image and video quality. Yes, the video quality of both front and back cam is a beast in this pixel line. It is set to obliterate the long standing king of videography (iphones). The past samples show that it does well even in the most harsh environment. They also focused on vlogging that's why they've upgraded the front camera.
I dont think its right to say that this lineup lacked innovation considering the entry prices and the features that u will get. just my 2 cents.
