joe nodden, 22 Oct 2022"With built-in fans & 18gb ram & 512gb storage... moreI think The Lenovo legion y90 is worth taking a look at
This is the smartphone with ssd storage i am talking about
It's got the SSD 128gb & UFS 512gb storage in raid
plus 18GB ram

The Red Magic 7S Pro the maximum version a very powerful smartphone
the 1tb storage / 18gb ram really good the lack of ssd storage is a bit of a let down

As i said before there is more too just running a fps monitor and reading fps numbers of it too say what smartphone has the best performance

The performance and improvements of extra ram will be best seen in switching between tabs in the browser dual screen mode multi tasking and more

Having apps and web pages stored in ram instead of storage is much faster and more and so much better for performance and the health of the system storage

You said
The moment a new high end chip comes out a gaming phone is obsolete

This is not true just because a new processor comes out don't mean last years processor is obsolete it takes a few years till this will happen

The performance difference is very small your only looking at like 3-5 fps improvement in games realistically from one 1 generation hardly noticeable without a fps monitor

Just because a gaming smartphone don't have the number 1 spot on benchmarks don't mean you need a new one or it can't game a gaming smartphone got about 3 years i would estate

If your saying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ is crap the Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 is only a little better in performance so nether any good or both are kinda good

yes one is better then the other so one is either more good or bad then the other but not the the point where one is great and other is trash

A desktop i9 13900ks & rtx 4090ti will crush them both by miles in gaming and performance

That is game developers fault that mobile processor can't run mobile games at good fps
A lot of the latest games are too hard too run this a real problem
Even 120hz gaming will be a real struggle again games made by game developers too heavy and hard too run in first place just making life harder for gaming who just want the games too run well and play smoothly

A gaming smartphone will have the longest life of any smartphone because there the most future proof in hardware performance and overall specs

So a maximum spec gaming smartphone from nubia or lenovo will stay capable of running games at a playable frame rate for the longest

Games are growing bigger in storage ever day and more ram hungry so the extra ram & storage will be helpful on the more premium gaming smartphones

Sin, 22 Oct 2022I had too check on gaming benchmark stats The FPS differen... more"With built-in fans & 18gb ram & 512gb storage or more storage & SSD even higher Hz 1080p screens" No gaming phone has all of that. The $800 Red Magic 7S Pro is the best gaming phone you can get and it doesn't even have the faster SSDs that you keep bringing up. Like I said before, "Only two garbage phones that use those cruddy Samsung chips have separate SSDs", but you clearly ignored that. And good luck finding mobile games that will run at 165 fps. Let alone games that a mere phone can run at 165 fps. And nobody needs 18 gigs of RAM in a phone. My PC has 16 and I legit keep multiple games open at once because I've got more than enough RAM to do it.

"Lenovo legion even has SSD storage in raid with ufs storage so should have great loading times" Not with that horrible 8 Gen 1.

"Although the benefits of such screens are questionable given the rather weak hardware" Exactly my point.

"Xiaomi just make trash" Yet a lot of their non-gaming phones are better at gaming than most of your beloved gaming phones.

"First is longevity you have a gaming smartphone that last for a long time depending on what games you play" The moment a new high end chip comes out, a gaming phone is obsolete. Non-gaming phones will suddenly be better at gaming than your alleged gaming phone. I mean you're stating the biggest con of gaming phones like it's a pro.

"there Is more too performance then just the processor alone" No, not really. These aren't PC's where you've got powerful GPU's and CPU's that get bottlenecked by your RAM and storage. The bottleneck in a phone is almost always the SoC. You can throw in as large, power-hungry, and hot a chip as you want in a PC, you've got radiators and tower coolers to cool them and big old power supplies to power them. In a phone, you've got a tiny battery and hardly any thermal mass to speak of, and even if you throw in a dinky little fan, it's hardly gonna do a thing. That's why efficient chips are by far the most important thing for a phone's performance. Your RAM and storage hardly generate any heat and hardly draw any power.

Maybe it can be a good buy
but you only get 8gb ram & 128gb storage that's the bare minimum needed for mobile gaming it's fine
Your limit by storage amount & ram amount

But paying more for too get more ram & storage improves performance in multi tasking and loading times and even FPS Is more stable and higher on expensive gaming smartphone with built-in fans

I think it be a better long-term buy and there Is more too performance then just the processor alone

joe nodden, 22 Oct 2022No. Just no. "Just a flagship but even better with ... moreI had too check on gaming benchmark stats
The FPS differences are very small and keep screen hz FPS target in mind

Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 vs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

This won't beat a flagship gaming from either Lenovo or Nubia smartphone
Probably it can be a razer phone 3 wannabe
As it might be able take a sim card slot be used as a smartphone
plus the joy stick drift after few months and poor portability only 8gb ram is just ok I guess

But this doesn't beat the extreme monsters the best flagship gaming smartphones of today
With built-in fans & 18gb ram & 512gb storage or more storage & SSD even higher Hz 1080p screens

Lenovo legion & Nubia red magic lines of smartphone have 18gb of ram this help so much with multi tasking

Lenovo legion even has SSD storage in raid with ufs storage so should have great loading times

Nubia red magic 165hz screen still the highest Hz screens on a gaming smartphone

but 240hz is on the sharp aquos zero 2 holds the record does say a lot about how far ahead Japanese market smartphone are

Same with Sony 4k screens on smartphone

Although the benefits of such screens are questionable given the rather weak hardware & Japanese smartphone are kinda crazy

Asus Rog add on fans is not the ideal solution but buyer's choice of processors between mediatek or Snapdragon flagship processors is a plus

Xiaomi just make trash no-one should by there crap you made a good point about there smartphones there is no way too defend them or justification for making there none gaming smartphone have faster ram then there so called gaming smartphones better or bad processor being used for gaming smartphone

The reason for buying the maximum spec gaming
First is longevity you have a gaming smartphone that last for a long time depending on what games you play
And if you're a power user or not for how long till you need too upgrade should be possible get years out of a gaming smartphone as too why there worth It

Gaming smartphone has big storage but should be a lot bigger realistically for big game library
multi tasking and extra ram is needed because apps on Android do use system resources in background mostly ram usage

Sin, 20 Oct 2022Gaming smartphone are just extreme flagship smartphones J... moreNo. Just no.

"Just a flagship but even better with even greater performance"? They literally, at best, use the same SoCs as "flagships" which result in the exact same performance. Except not every gaming smartphone uses the highest end chips and and it's not only flagships that have the highest end chips. Gaming phones quite often also have inferior, slower chips. Like look at the K40 and the K40 Gaming. The non-gaming K40 was better at gaming than the K40 gaming because it had the Snapdragon 870 whereas the "Gaming" model only had a slower Dimensity 1200. Which, isn't a bad chip, but it's not something you'd want if you're planning on gaming.

"and most smartphones overheat"? If the smartphone has an SD888 or an 8 Gen 1 it'll likely overheat, because those are cruddy Samsung chips. But, like I said before, gaming phones will only at best use the same chips as other phones. They also used these cruddy overheating Samsung chips. Like, if you buy the most recent Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro gaming phone, it'll for sure overheat, because it's got that cruddy 8 Gen 1. But if you buy the mid range Xiaomi Redmi K50 or K50 Pro, they won't overheat because they've got more efficient but just as performant Dimensity chips.

"The gaming smartphone has better cooling system with built-fans" Only Lenovo and ZTE have done that, to my knowledge. I mean Asus sells a separate cooling attachment, but at that point you could just buy the cooler that Xiaomi sells that works on any phone lol. Not that it even matters. It's halfwitted to buy a phone with better cooling instead of a more efficient SoC. Phones shouldn't even overheat in the first place. It's just a waste of energy.

"and very responsive screens" If you buy a phone without a high refresh rate display in 2022, you need to go through some serious neurogenesis. A phone has to be literal garbage not to have one nowadays. Even Sony who foolishly focused on pixel count for the longest time has started upping their refresh rates.

"and more ram" You can buy dirt cheap garbage phones with 8 gigs of RAM, buddy.

"and SSD" Only two garbage phones that use those cruddy Samsung chips have separate SSDs. I say different because every phone already uses SSDs. Be more specific if you want me to believe you even slightly know what you're talking about lol.

In conclusion, your beloved "Gaming" phones suck at everything including gaming. I said "sub-$600 phone that can do everything better" for a reason.

Microsoft & windows are going downhill fast

Windows 10 forcefully updated and with restore partition permently deleted and factory reset gone forever
Then told windows 10 support is forever
              Too then release windows 11
too then blocked from upgrading too windows 11 as Microsoft draws a wall in the sand with unnecessary make believe system requirements

I think windows is finished as the main gaming platform

In the last few years Android has come a long way there is already more Android gamer's then windows gamer's now

I did think of a use case for this console someone might want too have all there games on there game console so there not a resource hog on there smartphone eating ram and battery life

Although I think the gaming smartphone the best gaming device right now as gaming pc graphics card pricing still overpriced

Just a flagship but even better with even greater performance you're just buying a long-term smartphone by paying for the extra specs gives you a few extra years before smartphone you need too upgrade your smartphone again

The gaming smartphone are needed for gamers because games have high system requirements unfortunately and won't run well on mid range and budget smartphone and most smartphones overheat or the touch screen has too much input delay along other problems like the notch or hole punch

Some game's won't run on budget smartphones at all or will run but poorly with with sluggish performance freezing and games closing themselves often and painfully long loading times

The gaming smartphone has better cooling system with built-fans and very responsive screens and more ram and SSD for better loading times and gaming buttons and gaming mode with notification calling disabled so for gamers who want too play the best they can the gaming smartphone is the best tool

Hemedans, 19 Oct 2022Its not about mastering game or not, you think top players ... moreMyself I play strategy games and shooting games browser games and Adobe flash player game's NES games Saga games PS1 games
I play a mixture of many different games

So I have difficulties with different problems
One problem is if you got a big game library and play many different games is storage limitations

                            With mobile legends
Main problems I have is with the match making system in mobile legends is awful

If you play really good the game sets you up in a match you can't win no matter how good you are or how well you play

So getting wins like 10 in a role made impossible
Because of poor pairing from bad match making system

So sometimes clearly lost games get played out for like 10 mins and you can't just resign unless all your team vote the same so your stuck in lost matches playing them out till you lose

So the game strongly encourage smurfing as you can't set custom matches easily or leave lost games early

In the case with polywar the sniper is broken it's not the most enjoyable or fun gun but
it's just does too much damage so a lot of players just 1 shot you all of the time and the sniper in the hands of a good player will normally win a gun fight Vs the rifle/machine gun

I think the developers have tried too fix this problem but
The health bar in the game are too small and the sniper still op

All the developers need too do is lower damage of sniper but they make sniper need Len's too hit target still sniper is op gun because it 1 shot people easily

So I just have use the less enjoyable sniper over other weapons or use the knife

Lets take Black Desert mobile as example, it has Inventory system which is limited by weight,

Whales who spend lot of money can buy more slot to store things and they can farm for hours.

Free players or those who can spend few bucks have limited inventory, farming for few minutes they die because of weight, so you need 24/7 to be online if you want to farm, after few minutes go back to city sell your loots farm again, cycle continue.

So developers intentionaly cripple players so they can buy slots.

But Macro solve that, you set Macro after every 30 minute your charachter go to city and sell loot then come back to farm.

Also there is difference between Macros and bots,

Using Built in Macros in Emulator is legal atleast to games i play, but bot is illegal and you will be banned.
