The 14 Plus has to be the worst phone one can buy in 2022. Unless Apple slashes price by half where it actually should be

Not that surprising, people want the pro models. Why buy regular model which already cost lot when paying little bit more gives you the badass pro models which are noticable better.

apple do this intentionally, they offer an average product that is often priced excessively high to force peoples decisions to buy the premium versions by only spending a little bit more, of course not everyone needs the latest and greatest, but the low spec models are priced in such a way that it is almost stupid to buy them, they often cut far too many corners to justify the high price tags, which in turn makes the pro versions appear a bit better value on paper, which is NOT the case, but marketing 101 and all that

Apple iPhones are now becoming too monotonous, no major change in physical design in 5 yrs. The dynamic island not appealing 🙄🙄. They should bring back the mini series with 5.8" screen.

In our country, 14 plus is priced around 120usd more than the regular 14. Updrading upwards to 14 pro and pro max is an additional less than or equal to 100usd per tier. 13 pro max is priced same as 14 plus.
Weird. Explains why...

I want compact phone so it fits in my pocket and it's communication device as for what it mostly be used. Also for me be like 4 inch enough as to control the phone one handed be simple. Also long ago i had like 3.2 inch screen for galaxy gio and i didnt miss out on anything. Next phone for me was 4 inch screen Lumia 520 cause i wanted to go back on Nokia brand. And then 5 inch screen for lumia 830 as i wanted larger screen and cause also i wanted the phone be smaller as at that point already phones started to be really big.
The problem would be more as people dont want to spend 700 plus euro for a compact phone cause it makes no sense for what you use the phone for. If i dont play games and spend a lot of time behind screen then what would be the point to have the best on the market hardware in the phone ? Middle range around 300k - 400k score in Antutu is fine to last for 5 years

i would not be surprised if the conclusion has not to be that the plus line is unattractive because of it's size, but because of it's price: the stock 14 already is too expensive related to it's neglectible updates compared to it's predecessor.
Which are hardly justifying a "13s" moniker.
And those other 100USD on top for the plus then is simply too much for buyers to get triggered...
For me the entire 14 upgrade concept is screwed anyways...

Drop the PRO moniker.
... moreNobody wants to pay 700EUR for a 5.4" phone. That is good for nothing. No good for movies or videos, no good for mobile gaming, no good in battery life. Basically is just a 700EUR phone for calls and messages. You have the iPhone SE series for that, at almost half the price of the Mini series.
The same case scenario with the Plus. Nobody wants to pay 1200EUR for a phone (that has 60Hz, not all cameras from Pro Max and worse materials). Basically is just a Pro Max priced iPhone, but with vanilla iPhone features.
That is why both the Mini series and the Plus flopped.
