Early MediaTek Dimensity 9200 test on AnTuTu shows an impressive generational improvement

The Dimensity 9000 was the first to post a score of 1 million points, the 9200 will surpass it with a Cortex-X3 CPU core and Immortalis-G715 GPU.

they should sue qualcomm for its predatory practices by forcing companies to buy their overpriced crap, and that's how will have some decent competition in the phone market, especially in the midrange and flagship stuff.

    Good score but now what we need is better Thermal and Battery efficiency. Gone are the days that performance improvement is quite noticeable.

    Sustain peak performance and longer battery is I believe what most people looking forward now.

      G series saves gamers on the cheap especially G70 and above, Snapdragon can't do anything... It's just that Snapdragon has a better ISP than mediatek. I can see 9000+ even available for only $400 in China.

        MediaTek no Linux upstream makes it a pile of garbage when it comes to openness and security, avoid

          It's pretty interesting seeing Mediatek rise from years of mediocre chipsets to one of best in the market, only edged out by Snapdragon and Apple Bionic. And even that not in all cases. I wonder how Dimensity 8200 will look like...

            MediaTek must improve their image signal processing, then maybe some companies will make real flagships with MediaTek chipsets
