Around two years with iPhone and Sony wireless earphones, and close to zero disconnections. Never back to wired.

To wake phone up? Tapping on screen wakes up any iPhone from last 5 years or so. Raising it does the same. There would probably be other means to invoke POWER/SOS menu.

They want us to feel what�... morefirst and foremost, bluetooth earbuds are disposables. their batteries are unreplaceable and can only have so many recharge cycles. therefore, bluetooth earbuds offer great profit: they do not require lots of materials, cheap to produce, can be sold for good money and have build-in "legal" planned obsolescence due to batteries recharge cycles

              SOLID STATE buttons of iphone 15pro are done to cater increasingly volume og elderly population in North America and Europe.

                Another foolish move by Apple. They want us to feel what's not there. Haptic feedback tricks your mind.
                But the real feel is different.
                Removing Headphone jack is the dumbest idea. Bluetooth headphones have many issies like disconnecting now and then. Jack was simple, insert and that's it.

                    How is it easier to use such touch "buttons" which are inherently unintuitive, unreliable and complex than physical buttons which are intuitive, reliable and proven?
                    Worst is that these are now pushed into cars, and important, critical driving tasks are now being forced into such capacitive "buttons". These can be accidentally touched, or may not accidentally register when touched, causing accidents. How are these not crimes?

                      I'm waiting something like this for 3-4 years 😑
