Weekly poll: would you be interested in one of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 phones?

There is something for everyone - a cheap phone, a phone with a 200MP camera, a phone with 210W charging and one that's more in the middle.

Sort by:

Dimensity 1080 is basically just the 2 year old 900 = garbage
No micro SD = garbage
Ultrawide and macro cameras only 8 and 2mp when they should be 13 and 5mp = garbage

I really hope the global versions have better SOC like the Dimensity 8100 which Xiaomi put in the Poco X4 GT which only cost €350 and hope they have micro SD support otherwise I'm officially done with Xiaomi.

Might as well just get an iPhone at this point since android phones have started to remove all the features that used to set them apart from IPhone

    For example If you search for other phones to get a better chip than 1080 (like sd 870 ) then you will have to sacrifice some of the specs mentioned above.

    That's why people complain because Xiaomi know longer offer this

      Real fast charge at 210w is all we need, I'm including here, iPhone and Samsung users, that will never use this technology until is super safe, like 50 years from now!
      I prefer to change my battery every year with this 9 minutes fast charge rather than to wait 1 hour to fully charge my device!

        I love how Xiaomi offers bunch of phones for every price range and you can actually choose which one you'll get.
        So from now on, i'll stay on Xiaomi devices lol. They're really great.
        I don't know about Huawei but i'm not ready to pay over 550€ for Nova 10 lol since that's the only good mid-range i would consider but it would be a downgrade from 12T.
        I heard you can download something called GSpace and have Google with that thing.

Vibration motor was horrible on A52s, it literally shuts off when gesture vibrates few times and then you have to shake the phone in order to work properly again. The plastic felt so cheap like some random Chinese toy and plastic sides were unglued? I'm not sure how to describe side part. Software wise, it was amazing and smooth but build quality matters more to me so that's why i choose Xiaomi again. And honestly, after Android 12 MIUI 13, Xiaomi started going in very good way.
            I experienced MIUI 10, 11, 12 and now 13. The 13 is very smooth and has almost 0 bugs/issues.
            I'm sorry to tell Samsung fanboys this but their A series are overpriced as hell, the software is amazing but do you want to pay over 350€ only for software?

                UltraHD, 06 Nov 2022I have a phone with dimensity 8100-Ultra for the first time... morethe 8100 ultra wont cause issues as long you dont game at highest setting. daily use is more than enough. still wondering about the mic quality because phones with that chip dont have 3.5mm jack. the k50i/x4 gt do have 3.5mm jack but it isnt the ultra variant. just regular 8100. xiaomi phones tends to have noise cancellation so it sounds like whatsapp call quality, there is no way to disable it unless i had to sacrifice the warranty. you know, rooting the device.

                      The way Qualcomm used CDMA/LTE patents lead to the death of many Mobile soc divisions :
                      - NVIDIA
                      - Intel
                      - Texas Instruments
                      - Broadcom
                      - ST-Microelectronics
                      - VIA.
                      It reduced consumers choices.

                      Plus some other things like lack of AV1 hardware support as they prefered patented MPEG5.

                            performance-wise, i think dimensity series are perfect.
