so, i have gone through 5 samsung devices. starting from galaxy grand2, j1 ace, note fe, and the last good ones is the a20. a12 is so crap yes i stopped buying samsung but i tried to look back.

Well here are 2 kinds of people as for treating one's things, I'ma obviously that better case. (I'll probably buy a case when I find one I like though)
UltraHD: I've bought it in Q1 of 2022 under €300 so I'm sorry to tell you talking about fanboys using untrue argument pretty much makes you a Xiaomi fanboy. Vibration is no good and yes, Xiaomi has it pretty good in their phones. As said build quality of A52s is no problem to me which doesn't mean it can't be better if that's important for you.
You guys buy and use whatever you llike and find good for you, just do not confuse your feelings with the facts.

Redmi note 12 li... moreXiaomi naming scheme is very bad, that's for sure. And adding Redmi and Poco phones to it, is very hard to make a clear purchase, especially for the average user.
Many average users are just getting a phone based on the price. Without exactly knowing why one model cost more, what does it have extra, or if the extra features are really useful/needed.
Too many models and rebranded models, with very little differences between them.

I'd totally like one of these but they don't work as phones in the USA, so nope. Never gonna happen until they are designed to work in the USA.

Mediocre SOC and the second and third cameras are useless, only present to make number.
Redmi Note 9 and 10 where great for the price. 11 was too expensive for what it offered. This one is worse, at least at this price tag. Xiaomi has been loosing the budget buyers appeal.
PS: I use a Xiaomi, and it's my 4 in a row. But I'm moving to another brand.

All phones except the vanilla note 12 are good.
But if I had to choose , I'd pick note 12 solely because of snapdragon processor.
I can't live with MIUI and had to replace it with a custom rom. Mediatek processors limits my ability to do that , so no mediatek for me. Maybe that's why these Chinese brands are going heads over heals for mediatek processors since it's limits user's ability to get a custom rom.

We are at the cross roads of Electric vehicles increasing in demand and by extension a race to develop battery/charging technology
Some of that will inevitably leak over in smartphones
