Some have complained galaxy s3 about its flimsy feel.
Higher quality parts will get people to take another look at NOKIA,HTC and APPLE for 2013 flagship.
HTC was the high quality aluminum, and the proper metal treatment and not like galaxy series.
HTC does much better job with aluminum bodies imho.

Apple makes the most per handset because its cheap to make and they charge the most. They don't outsell Samsung or Nokia. But, in the mobile department, they make more money by gouging you into thinking that those "premium" parts (mostly from Samsung) are top of the line.

Apple is always one step ahead. Their current iphone is using Cortex-A15 .. compared to S3 and note 2 using Cortex-A9, which is same processor as that of iPhone 4S. Fanboys only look at number of cores, but never know what is inside the cores.
To make it clear.. samsung do not have the build quality NOR the processing quality.
Thats why the price is cheap.. and for those that think they getting value for money is terribly wrong.

Iphone 4/4s are indestructible (unless you drop it, or place it in a pocket with keys.)

And plastic is cheap, unattractive and less durable than aluminum.
You can use fancy words like "polycarbonate" unibody or military grade polymer. It doesn't matter plastic will always be prone to cracks, flexing and discoloration.
You can argue that plastic is lighter and offers better signal reception. Well that didn't stop apple from making outstanding products.
Don't blame it on the materials, blame it on the engineers that design these cheap flimsy toys.
You guys obviously don't appreciate outstanding craftsmanship from NOKIA,HTc,ASUS and apple.

No matter how HARD you try to defend samsung and the reality is the whole world labelled they are "COPYCATz" brand.
You know your product is a cheap imitation.
They don't seem to care about making quality devices or having good support.
Their screens are cheap, the materials they use are cheap, it's all about $$$.
You are paying the premium price, the price "does not"reflects the quality parts.

The S1 was an iPhone 3GS copy without a doubt! Why should Samsung infringe other companies patents? They should pay the royalties like everybody else. Now they are using Ericcson patents and trying to escape without paying. There will be lots of other companies Samsung will owe. The world's court's need to make an example of Samsung that copying and stealing ideas from other companies shouldn't be tolerated!

you guys are touched right cause u now ther is a problem and looks like ther is better to offer in a all round phones a big issue for me is build quality and water proof is something that should be in all flagships so yeah im gona say it how it is and if nokia can do it why cant sammy they have the money thats why i have no loyalty cause when u are they tend put less effort

The reason why I think it looks "ugly" on the back is because it has "minimal" styling around its camera and speakers. Its just there and it doesn't work well with what Samsung have tried to make a smooth "Hyperglaze" body. Its something rough with what should be a smooth rounded body. And the minimal camera styling seems familar with the Galaxy Mini? Not shouting flagship thats all, and people want a phone thats "all eyes on me" when they're spending around £500, NOKIA ideology will always be there.

Their most current phones note2 and s3 are using the same cores found in iPhone 4S clocked at higher speed only.
All other brands like htc sony or huawei exceed them and release their better CPU faster then them.

See you are throwing opinion and mixing it with fact and using one specific issue to stretch it over an entire spectrum. Weather you like it or not it's not cheap. That's just fact. Yes being water proof would be very smart for them to do. Its a problem specific only to the s3 and is probably a tempering issue as stated already, but you apparently only see what you want. You dont like the design? That's ok. It's your opinion. Some people do though. if you don't then stick with someone else.
