Ah, but can it be rooted? Snapdragon for USA phones are bogged down with so much unnecessary bloatware, and I'm wondering if after-market developers will be as useless as my wonderful, rooted Galaxy s3 is. Pass, probably.

Apple should do same. Their chips are only better for benchmark.
Real use are way behind.
The iOSmis lighter than android, it masks how weaker A chips are.

As back then active cooling system with built-in fans and vents water cooling etc was not even considered back then
The Snapdragon 810 was very hot a no-one had a working solution too the problems of heat
As of 2022 Exynos and Snapdragon are for different markets so there not in competition with each other just in UK & EU you just get crap if you're a Samsung buyer that is in USA you're lucky if you're a Samsung buyer
Samsung realistically should just sell both versions in all markets with all carriers or as unlocked and even sell there Exynos processor too other smartphone manufacturers
Then there Would be good healthy competition

but i hope the qualcomm chipset is not produced in samsung factories, otherwise we risk having less energy efficient chips , Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 by Samsung , Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 by Tsmc , big difference !!!

Those sd for 📷 are as fast as internal storages.

This should be amazing for Samsung customers only having a Snapdragon version as a lot of people where used pay full price for the Exynos version or need too inport the Snapdragon version
So much better this should be big improvement over last year's Samsung smartphones
Hopefully the Samsung Exynos processor stays out of the Samsung s23 flagships and only flagship Snapdragon processor are used
Exynos powered smartphones should be mid range phones or budget Or reduced price

Thats why didn't go for a S22 ultra. If S23 ultra comes with snapdragon in EU, surely i would buy it.

What issues you have on your phone with 8Gig... moreSwitch emulation with skyline (which got some amazing improvement the past months) might require more than 8gb ram in some games. Other than that I can't think of many things which need lots of ram, I know there's the source engine launchers which play half life 2 and other source games and they have texture pack support and some HD packs need a lot of ram

Samsung probably cancelled Exynos or at least they should
