Shellyman Studios, 08 Nov 2022For sake! I hope more OEMs switch to Mediatek and stop kiss... moreIt's not "kissing beepppp"
but more likely like the huawei things.
the smartphone manufacture were afraid of the big gov behind qualcom

Shellyman Studios, 08 Nov 2022For sake! I hope more OEMs switch to Mediatek and stop kiss... moreNow Samsung users wants Dimensity 9200 instead Qualcomm , and years ago they wanted Qualcomm instead of Exynos
      So, now its Mediatek >Qualcomm>Exynos

rizki1, 08 Nov 2022I want this in cheap laptop, why they are not make it?cheap laptop means windows on arm....no no no, we see what surface pro X and current surface pro 9 arm can do under arm
Windows on arm is not macOS on arm architecture
Maybe some kind of laptop with android OS with this, yes maybe

For sake! I hope more OEMs switch to Mediatek and stop kissing Qualcomm *beep* all the time. Bring on the competition!

If they bring feature like fsr 2 on android it will be great.
Who will use ray tracing on android.?

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2022No, because lack of interest from OEMs. That because the various MoU and LoI qualcomm have with manufacture to stay on top
And also because Qualcomm have many commentator to say Mediatek bad (no custom firmware, etc)

kammem2, 08 Nov 2022i dont think any game can utilize ray tracing on mobile...t... moreYeah, Ray tracing on discrete gpus until now is still a niche thing (too much performance drops, only flagship products comfortably support it) I don't imagine it'll be a big thing for mobile platforms. I think performance efficiency is a bigger selling point for most. After all, only mobile gamers and editors benefit from raw perf, while everyone can appreciate efficiency and battery life.
