Change the f***king UI,it's neither beautiful as Stock UI and nor has useful software tweaks as TouchWiz,The sense designers need to be reminded that the world is not monochrome.Don't be greedy , the Desire X(a mid Ranger) was overpriced like hell.

i think there is many areas in which HTC needs to improve, they don't seem to have any general direction, its a hit and miss, then releasing flagships phones all the time, in the same area, and updating models with new ones only months after initial release,
battery life seems to be an issue with a fair few of the phones, along with the fact that most of their flagships don't include micro sd support, the new HTC one will help but it is still hindered by lack of storage, also the fact that it is sandwiched between the new super Experia Z and the upcoming superphone galaxy 4 and the ever large apple all around its no doubt that HTC will struggle until they get these issues at least addressed, of course that's just my opinion from what i read in regards to HTC.

Htc you need to hear the voice of your consumer it is not only about business but you need to think about the needs and wants of your customers and they need bigger battery for your smartphones and micro sd cards or bigger internal storage like what you did on htc one x+... htc your build quality is good but still add more concern to your customers you will be on top of all...

The HTC One is likely to prove to be a global best seller and is already highly anticipated in markets such as the UK. However, as this article rightly points out, effective marketing will be critical. It is a shame to see HTC in this predicament, not least given the quality of its hardware.

If they can make cheaper phones, that may improve their situation. Don't think HTC One can help them much!

...Upon which they put DEAF EARS!
if only Peter Chou read GSM Arena and become wise..!

Please... bigger and removable battery, Mr. Chou
Not 'revolutionary' 4MP camera, that won't do.

I just gonna wait for at least 8MP ultrapixel camera before throwing hard earned money on HTC handset!

Hope by that time HTC still exist..

              We geeks know better.

But think about the ordinary teen, mom, dad... you see all other flagships sporting 8mp and 13mp cameras on their phone, and HTC advertises 4mp ultrapixels. We as geeks know the tech behind it and also know that megapixels isnt the full story.

But what happens to the non-techie, they are gonna stare clear of that 4mp thing. and it would intern impact the sales also.

HTC One if a beautifully built device, sad to see this happening to them.

My phone android phone (although rooted) was an HD2, loved that phone

HTC ONE definitely will able to help the company to boost their strongest sales within coming months and this is for sure. But HTC need to work hardly to push it further. I can foresee HTC has make the right move with HTC ONE. All the best!

until and unless they provide bigger battery, their sales is not going to increase.

HTC needs to add a micro sd card slot on all high end phone and also that cloud storage should be removed, who is gonna pay all that money for transfering data to cloudstorage..
Thats the only drawback most say abt HTC..
Pls pls HTC add a micro sd card

Bloated ui (sense), shitty support and upgrade paths, nothing special to distinguish its flagships. Terrible boot loader policies.

                          I'm not surprised at all.

htc doesn't make good quality phones.. you start getting problems within a few months of purchasing the phone.. my hd mini broke down 3 times in 12 months.

HTC needs to learn that it has to work with GOOGLE and OFFER A NEXUS phone if it ever wants to be a player in the mobile world.

Look at how well LG sales have been so far with it's Nexus 4.

The HTC One is not going to help that much because its camera is not what it claims to be, you guys compared it with the iphone's camera and the HTC One fail. I think people wont buy something that is not what says to be.

Add the memory card slot and removable battery and next you would be in my wishlist, until then,i am happy with Samsung.

I already mentioned this in a text message elsewhere ages ago which might suggest i'm a little way infront of GSM's forum.

HTC one should bring in some cash... but I don't think it would be enough.
