Year upon year of tinny speakers poor microphones and not good cameras a poor video recording did it for me i give up...Yet go back to ealier years most of my non Nokia smartphones were HTC..It started with SPV series then Virgins Lobster TV and Jasjar range etc,i loved them finishing finally with HTC Touch Pro..

I did try a few Android HTC but they went straight back with tinnitus inducing speakers...It was an ongoing joke that HTC bought a shedload of these speakers and were slowing getting rid of them before buying new decent quality speakers..

Whats happening and even with my fave company Nokia is folk are just buying Samsungs and Apple..Actually folk are asking for Galaxys not Samsung most of the time..So with this all the other companys are not getting a look in..I did like the look of the HTC J BUTTERFLY but that was Japan only...

I do not hate HTC i hope they do pick up.

For the love of God ... who would wanna buy a battery that lasts less than 10 hours ... not even half a day ... make your BATTERIES bigger, and quit being greedy and reduce the PRICES!... it's no mystery why you're going down!!!! DUH!

HTC may need to learn little more how to sell their product in terms of pricing it correctly and marketing techniques. Many people are giving free advice to HTC on this forum don't even know the history of Android and HTC. (G1, Nexus One).
Really surprise how people choose phones just because it has Card_Slot and Removable battery. Please ask yourself if 2TB SSD internal memory is enough without Card_Slot.

This year HTC will build up the momentum and next year the new One will have the same effect as the iPhone or Galaxy S ;)

I think this year GS4 will not outdo the One.

Who want to buy a phone from a company named High Tech Computer corp, and the phone has BEATS and BOOMSOUND, thats already bad enough, but then add Ultrapixels to the mix and you have the cellphone of Corky Thatcher himself.

HTC needs to stop locking their bootloaders, needs to stop with all the security (read lock, CID, Hboot etc.). And teh prices. The One cost almost 700Euros. How in God's name are they going to sell those compared to other manufacturers. I know they make good designs, I own a One X, but I'm getting real tired of HTC and it's so called security measures. If they keep this up well you already see how "nice" they stand.

I just made a choice between the SIII and the One X but went for the former due to the removable battery and SD card slot. There's a lesson there somewhere for HTC.

ya they really produces the best looking and best quality phones but still their sales going down..
no its not sadly they are responsible
in india people likes their phone and can afford them but the refrain from buying due to cheap quality of after sales service...if your phone need service under warranty they will take minimum 45 days and if any hardware needs to be changed they say part need to be imported and you will have to wait for 3 months or so, its worse then other any low budged chinese phones which gives u dual core mediatek phones for 10,000 rupees

kindly make this message reach to htc officials... hey can grow in india well

I have stuck religously to hTcfrsince getting my first smart phone. Unfortunatly, as mentioned before, the batteries only last 5 mins when usint them to their full cappacity. I have been tempted to venture to the dark side after being allowed to play with a friends iphone, but then i found the sampsung sIII. What di i do? Hopefully htc will win me back buy doing something about the poor quality baterries, please pursuade me to stay !

Only way to increase the sale is to increase the battery life of their phones.

Ordinary folks with cash won't even bother with a paltry 4 megapixel camera-phone. Trust me, that's all they'll see: 4MP. Not even second thoughts of that 'ultrapixel' marketing. Who knows? Some might even ask if it's really 41MP (not 4MP) like the Nokia 808.. haha
