Anonymous, 17 Nov 2022It will be the start of Samsung's downfall. No exynos ... morePlease for love of man kind tell me what does Exynos do good?
Its peak performance is worse, it uses more power, it heats up more, it throttles more, it's ISP is worse, it's objectively worse chip.

Not buying Samsung. They keep downgrading their regular and Plus models. There's even rumors the S23 and 23+ will have worse bezels and weaker haptic motor. These phones have become loss leaders to push sales for the Ultra model.
If Realme can equip a flagship with a flat 6.7 QHD+ panel how come Samsung can't for the S21/22/23+? The answer is they don't want to. It's one in a long line of anti-consumer strategies from this company.

Samsung, "we want a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Version, like a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Plus version"
Qualcomm sends an option of an Overlooked Version, with no information on battery and thermals. Hopefully, Samsung tested those, without relying on Qualcomm.

So that means that Samsung will once again differentiate when it comes to processors in their flagships. The better version, for Europe and ordinary for the rest of the world
Why can't they just stick to one for everyone

High frequency version. How the tables have turned. Remember 7 years ago that Samsung intentionally sold a Snapdragon variant which is slower than the fellow Snapdragon phones from other brands that time?

On one hand Europeans will sure be happy not to be second class citizens.
On the other I was kind of hoping that Samsung would pigheadedly push on with Exynos until they are a match for Snapdragon.
The total dominance of Qualcomm is not a good thing and is driving up prices as they can charge whatever for their chips.

ENLENIO, 17 Nov 2022Look here's the thing
Exynos is just a chipset with p... moreFrom what I have seen, the Exynos versions usually aren’t only slower but also have some combination of stutters/ worse camera/ worse battery life/ worse thermals
(I’m not too sure about the latest iterations, though)
Really looking forward to seeing how the European version of the S23 will do. Although the higher clock seems kinda dumb. I’d much rather have better battery life and thermals than a slightly faster SOC

Look here's the thing
Exynos is just a chipset with power between the QUALCOMM Snapdragon 888+ and the Mediatek 9000
I mean many of us use phone for calling, streaming, browsing and photography so really a chipset with decent power is good I mean we treat exynos like it has speeds slower than the iPhone 3gs
