Personally I also have 2 apple devices right now.. the ipad pro and airpods pro.. yes you are right.. one can install youtube plus in ios as well.. but first you have to change ipas every 1 to 2 weeks.. and second ios security gets hampered. I work in a central govt bank, so all my work data is here.
As for why I use vanced and not premium.. it gives you more freedom for free. Vanced is so advanced, they they even skip, in video promotions, and other useless things.it gives you many settings unavailable in premium as well. Try it once and you will fall in love

Updates delivery in states is terrible because of all the crap service providers want to have in firmware which means Samsung has to fine tune and modify firmware for every service provider in US individually which usually delays things badly. S22 "international" should have it everywhere already as it was first batch.

It's more your comment said you had to pay for Youtube with iOS. I have a lot of Android devices and only one iOS device and I never had to pay to use Youtube on iOS. My initial point of contention was that you said you had to pay to use it rather than you chose to pay to use it. I've been paying for Youtube Red for almost 10 years at this point for the same reason, but I just got my second ever iOS device in 2021. There are other ways to avoid ads for free even with iOS if you want to do that, but IMO the Yotube Red / Premium value add has been worth the money. I'm all for Android over iOS anyway. I only bought the iPad Mini 6 because at the time there was no small Android tablet with decent specs. Now there is literally 1 China domestic market alternative. If it was out when I bought the iPad I wouldn't have any iOS devices atm.

there is no major update in one u.i causing no problem for samsung to release updates faster, and increase the number of years for all future updates from samsung smartphones. the smoothness of operation is still below the level of flagship midrange android (not to mention iPhone), lack of different built-in applications in every corner of the country. It's a shame for Samsung because it doesn't have functions and capabilities like those found in Huawei/Xiaomi/Honor mid-range flagship devices that offer MEMC/Dynamic Dolby Stereo/AptxHd/Aptx/Charger/Cable etc. Battery cycle is low, there is still no battery capacity percentage function provided by Samsung. Accessories that are sold separately, if you want to compare buy a PS5, the case and plug are still included. Too obsessed with iPhone changes, Samsung's originality is nowhere to be found...

They need to solve their regionalized updates, for example Samsung Brasil is crap, always late in releasing updates, A52s recently was abandoned with July update, no 5G SA support, only 5G NSA support, which is firmware limitation, not hardware, because 5G SA works on India ROM for example, they released the update finally after 4 months for A52s in Brazil only in last 17th November and still no 5G SA support, with old patch from September, meanwhile rest of world in October patch.
Even their top tier flagship S22 Ultra is delayed, without One UI 5 update here, this is so F disrespectful for one of their biggest markets in the world, so I disagree that Samsung is the fastest update for Android, this doesn't apply for all of the world, their schedule doesn't apply for all countries, which is crap and disrespectful for their users all over the world, some receive fast support, and some receive extremely delayed updates, forcing users to change ROM country and CSC, F you Samsung.
Too much fragmentation that they can't keep up to update timely worldwide, imagine the resources needed to compile different firmware for each country, they desperately needs to streamline this, otherwise people will keep going to iPhones.

Galaxy A73 5G has got the Android 13 update already. It's easy to do it as it only has one firmware for all regions. The only difference is the minor regional customisation.

I wish they would also focus on updating older phones.
Like galaxy S10 lineup and note 10 lineup. The hardware is still super capable and powerfull. Why not update them to OneUI 5. :/

Most are just already existing third party features being incorporated into the os. And android major updates seem to send us backwards with all new restrictions per update.
But at least they look good promoting environmental cause using their shiny new phone.
