Reno 2 is still the best out of all the phones in the Reno series

I was really excited about the Pro+'s mint color before the launch event because it looks just as good, if not better, than the mint color seen on Reno8 Pro+. However, after the launch event and after seeing it in actual videos, I'm really disappointed as it's a lot less "minty" than the image shown. And the camera module looks almost like silver and has no color consistency with the rest of the back plate.
Besides the look, they once again cut OIS and metal frame out for non Pro+ models. What's more confusing is that they even put a 2MP "tactical" camera on Pro+ model. We're talking about a phone that cost 4K+ in CNY that has 2MP useless cameras. IMO this is reallly ridiculous and with a very similar price range, vivo's X90 series beat this in almost every aspect.

What i... moreSeriously nowadays the only specs that midrange phone have better than previous flagship are having longer support, faster charging and faster refresh rate. If you like to take pictures, better choose old flagship and these 8mp+2mp scam.

They're been continuing with the 8MP Ultrawide+2MP Macro since the first Oppo Reno.10x Zoom which I bought. After 9 iterations, it's frustrating that the company won't chuck out the useless 2MP macro camera and put a useable telephoto instead. Heck, they could have just kept two cameras if they wanted to keep the cost down but bumped up the Ultrawide camera to 16MP atleast.

Don't you think 16 GB RAM ia just overkill for these phones especially considering how badly Colour OS crushes Background processes.so what's the purpose of having so much RAM.

Reno Series from OPPO,Infact most of Oppo phones are for Non-techy people.Thesecpeople don't understand much about smartphones so they are easily impressed by big numbers & mind boggling marketing names.
Best value for money phones in BBK group are Realme & Iqoo.
Oppo & Vivo both are pathetic in general except their Flagship Find & X series.

I mean there's nothing special about the 9 series, while the 8 series was a great upgrade over the 7 series, huge difference. And about the 6 series, well I would say that they have the best camera performance among the Reno phones. But whatever, as an overall, the 8 series is indeed the best deal

Basically the 2MP camera is mostly not used if you never use bokeh.. and it works simultaneously with 50MPX cam create blur background while main sensor is focused... It is not about higher MPX but size of the sensor.. megapixels is resolution so size of your photo.. you not going to do billboards photos anyway so 50MPX cam in smartphones is totally enough ... even 40 or 30 is fine.. All depends of the raw image quality capture and proper file format
Above 50MP cam are just marketing bullcrap...

Loud speakers.. best design slimmest bezels.. no other phone has same or slimmer than mine.. what else you want ?? 🤷♂️ Ys this upcoming 9 is nothing special and they messed up with again curved s6 edge mania still ongoing screen 🤦♂️ lower charger I have 80W

But I agree I have Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G and there is nothing wrong with it... Haven't used Vivo for loong time since 2015... and I was not good in that time..
