Corning unveils Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with improved drop resistance

Phones have gotten larger and heavier over the years, which means that the glass has to be even tougher to survive drops on rough surfaces like concrete and asphalt.

    Pure marketing, these phones can't even look bad because they get scratched later!!! even for a simple fall, maybe that's why the Chinese don't spend money on this and put something unrecognized but it works!

      Still Chinese and Motorola using using 2012 gorilla 3 for phones that cost $150-350. When they should have GG5 at least.

        Should have been called GG9.

        Mine has Dragon Tail glass, never shattered after almost 20 accidents. Even being dropped on sidewalk.
        Dragon Tail is super tough.

          Phone is getting taller not larger
