If I'm not mistaken, Huawei has a total of 6 foldables. Motorola has 3. Moto introduced the teardrop hinge. They took two years following the Razr 5g to introduce a 2nd gen. Some may argue those foldables have better hardware than Samsung, but none are water resistant. Plus, Samsung is the only one that has even touched on the issue, so I trust what they've said. Huawei, Moto, Oppo or Honor could have easily come out and said otherwise to discredit them.
It's not by chance. The common denominator is the teardrop hinge. I believe if Huawei and Moto could make their foldables water resistant, they would. It's not a matter of can't do it. Somebody will, eventually. It's a matter of R&D which takes time and Samsung may be the only ones invested enough to take on the challenge.

Until solid state battery technology becomes readily available, a roll-able will not be worth it

77, 02 Dec 2022I agree, also 18gb Ram and 600ppi, and smaller 6inch versio... more18 gigs of ram for the flip is overkill, so is a 4k display. at 6 inches, you can barely tell the difference between 1080p and 2k, 4k is completely unnecessary. plus, there doesn't need to be a smaller version. you guys pushing for compact phones don't realize that this is a compact phone, and fits in your hand and your pocket like a compact phone

I tried flip 4 in the showroom and this thing was hot..easily 41-42 degree on idle mode..mb increase the width and put some colling into this device

Remember, back in the day it was thought that implementing ip rating on an phone won't be possible unless you wanted your phone to be ugly as CAT (Samsung S5). But 2 years later, lo and behold, one of the most beautiful devices with ip68 was presented (s7 edge)

one issue i have galaxy fold 3 if you play games ,your finger scars the surface that are finger of most placed like the joystick are and my screen protector off so don't pull off,i cut my nails but anyway its marks the screen if you run games,but you cant see if you use the phone but selling it loss value
