sixtymes, 03 Dec 2022I wonder when phones will start getting lighter? If someone starts the trend initially, others will follow, if Apple does it and makes an big marketing out of a light weight phone, then you can bet the entire industry follows.

Apple advertised it as being upto 4X better than previous glass versions but they probably forgot that big and heavy phones cause the glass to break on the very first fall

Samsung advertised the S22 series having the latest glass but drop tests showed disappointing results. Both broke on first drop (regular and ultra) and it's pretty common for a lot of phones even with Gorilla glass to shatter on first or few fall
Is corning lying or samsung intentionally making phones fragile

sixtymes, 03 Dec 2022I wonder when phones will start getting lighter? When they become smaller. Larger body adds more weight than what a 1000mAh larger battery would.
