            And let's be honest for a sec here, even the D9000 (TSMC) had "heating issues"... The main culprit behind it was ARM's X1 and X2 cores which were terribly optimised and were very power hungry...

            And if Samsung was such a big villain, they wouldn't have fabricated the SD 845 which was a fan favourite back in the day

                Check out YT channel Geekwan (something like that), they did comparison of all modern chips, how much power they consume relative to their performance, the 8 Gen 1 is quite literally iirc bellow 865 and 870 at same power level, and it only reaches higher performance because it uses wayyyyyy more power.

                              If it's gonna have the 8 Gen 2 then why does your spec sheet for the phone still mention the D8200.

                                870 is pretty good enough to be the standard for future mid ranger, imo only 778 and 870 the good Qualcomm mid rangers the rest are ok too but not really good when it comes to heavier apps or games, i reckon 8 gen 1 will be reused next year for some models

                                  Not much of an issue if the Pro isn't sold globally.

You cant do anything to reduce heat on compact device without a space to release the heat, and cant increase the battery capacity because no enough room and make it heavier with current technology.
