After 1 minute of using gpu its loosing power already to the point that the gain from gen 1 to gen 2 is almost zero
Bumping the gpu clockspeeds that would mean in 10 seconds your phone will get too hot to operate
Only active/very big phones can take advantage of this SD gen 2

This looks like another significant bump in performance, but to what end? You won't even notice unless you are a hardcore mobile gamer. This is why I haven't bought a flagship phone since 2015. The software just hasn't caught up to the SoCs. The Snapdragon 870 will probably continue to provide the best balance of performance and battery life even over the 8 Gen 2. The performance of the Tensor G1 in my Pixel 6a is way more than I need and the battery life is still decent. I just don't see the point in buying an expensive phone anymore. Maybe I would pay more for my dream device, but every device has some compromise.

It's not common in the west, but it's more of a thing in China and developing economies where the price of a gaming PC or a console is a significant portion of GDP per capita. I'm from the USA and currently living in Europe. I only play League of Legends, Arena of Valor and Apex Legends on my mobile devices. These will run fine on mid range devices and the graphics aren't even a problem because if you compare to the desktop counterparts it still looks bad even on the highest end phones.

I'm interested in hearing about about real world SOT using nothing but WiFi 7 all day looks like. Question: why not bump GPU clockspeeds (at least on flagships) to
1 ghz and higher already?

I don't think, there will be difference between iQOO 11 and Redmi Magic 8 Pro. Red Magic 8 Pro is using beast screen. Even though iQOO 11 is no slouch. Flagship killer at 650-700USD for 256GB global variant would be best.
