Regarding the upcoming Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip promises to be a powerful chip with high benchmark performance, this is somewhat tarnished by the fact that apple already has the a16 bionic chip that's even more powerful as well as having even higher benchmark performance in their iPhone 14 pro and the 14 pro max. And then add to that since apple makes both their chip and software thus giving near perfect efficiency and optimization vs Qualcomm not making software and only the chip makes it even more one sided in Apple's favor.
You could say apple has won the contest before the a16 bionic vs. 8 gen 2 contest even started. Now that's incredible.
