Look at the stock Android, One UI, Color OS, Origin OS, EMUI. They all have the same design now.

oh god I expect a usb c 3.1 port not usb 2.0 again. I transfer big files between phone and 2t portable ssd drive all the time. Rubbish! and it cost $1000+ overpriced sh!

It's not mentioned if Xiaomi 13 display also supports 1920 Hz PWM...It will be a very big let down if it doesn't

Yes. Miui is always great. specially on their flagships. this year the UI will be nore smooth, only 8 pre installed app that can be uninstalled, less pre installed unnecessary apps, more battery life, less memory consumption from system apps and third party apps.
so, the Xiaomi 13 series is the best ever.
