If you look at a TV from a far, then yes, you probably won't be able to differentiate them, but from a close or normal viewing distance, the difference is clear.

I've seen that, people praising how it looks the best and has best contrast and resolution really feels and it was the most basic model next to almost top tier one. So, spare me.

YUKI93, 13 Dec 2022Because popular sponsored tech YouTubers keep looking down ... moreI can't take those two sellout influencer seriously, especially the latter. He was that same guy who reviewed the Sony Xperia 1 iv and yet he said that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with base 128GB storage, no headphone jack, and no microSD card support is a better buy. I sold my S22 Ultra for that Xperia 1 iv and I couldn't have been any happier.

I really dont see any point or sense to do 8K recording on a phone.
By the way 8K video will cost like 10GB per minute of video maybe more but not much less.
Which in phone with 128GB of disk space is a very useless feature.

AnonD-762416, 13 Dec 2022Are you seriously still buying that nonsense? If you can... moreYou're still peddling Apple BS argument? Dude, I'm not even using iPhone, yet you're still whining about it. I know what I see with general population and they have absolutely no clue or care what resolution displays are. Some businessman that buys a Galaxy S23 Ultra, it could run a 480p display and I bet he probably wouldn't know it's bad. Or good. And yes, lots of people wouldn't be able to tell apart good 1080p encoded video from 4K video. If they were side by side, maybe. But if you'd show them individually by switching, I don't think they would, no. Been working too long with video content and graphics to know people actually have no clue what they are paying for in 90% of the time outside of small fringe of hardcore enthusiasts who can tell what antialiasing technique is being used or what video codec is used just from looking at screen.

Like it's already been said, you should stop swallowing all of Apple's lies about everything. Embrace reality. Embrace innovation. Embrace Samsung. Abandon your strange love for your Chinese copycat phones.

SShock, 11 Dec 2022Lol, imagine actually believing that s**t... XD Yeah, Samsu... moreApple was the best at rewriting history with its barrage of liesand disinformation. Smartphones were always going mainstream, Agile didn't have patents on anything, and everything I wrote is facts.
Steve Jobs didn't have a clue, he thought Samsung had lost it when they released "huge" multitasking phones like the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note.
A couple years later, Apple was all-in on copying it all when Samsung had gone from zero to owning the global smartphone market.

no is not a future proof recording, is a joke to even record 8k on a 1/1.3 sensor and if is cropped again and lacks stabilization is once again useless.
samsung should stop relying on gimmicks and and put 1 quality 5x zoom sensor instead of 2 and with the extra space fit an 1 inch sensor for the main, why samsung became so boring in the last years???i'm more excited about vivo and xiaomi lately

For now 8k video recording in android smartphones is noting but marketing-its a mess, I hope it gets better though
But it seems like APPLE might be the ones to actually do usable 8k videos, considering how they have the best overall video recording quality for smartphones right now but time will tell
