Apple confirms it uses Sony camera sensors for its iPhones

    The hardware means nothing without the software, it's the software the determines the results. (that's why GCam works, why it can make cheap phones deliver even better than high end results)

      Apparently they ordered too much or apple just being stingy for using the same outdated sensor for the past three iphone series.

          Sony is ADAMANT that you use manual settings and camera controls with their phones like their A1 or A6400; that's why they put THREE of them on the 1 iv and 5 iv.

          The reason they look "worse" is because Sony does basically ZERO post-processing and they expect you to sit down on your computer and fix your photos on Lightroom...

            Sony must perform much care to its camera software department to surpass Apple. Hardware is top, but adapting software needs improvement. Sadly, crApple is still the most lying and bad quality trademark and devices for their prices ever in www, but their apps... Sony take note!

              So not only you don't know anything about business, you also don't even understand your own post. Anyway, parent companies have full control over their subsidiary companies. It's not only about money. Also, generally parent companies and subsidiary companies don't give money to one another. Profits of a subsidiary company belong to that company. A parent company will get money in accordance with the shareholding ratio when its subsidiary company pays a dividend. A parent company won't give money to its subsidiary company.

Then they claim 50% of iphone is made by samsung when there is nothing else but screen/touch.

                          Oh well, at least there are the third party store options then I guess.

                            Because they all recently dumped (in the past 1 year) all their own apps instead, and now you have to use Google Pay on Android, because cheaper.

                            So I would be surprised if they went back to their own apps, bank just care about money no matter how they get it.

                              Why? Way cheaper than having their own system, my brother works for a bank and even he said "the reason all but one bank switched to Google Pay, and dumped their own payment methods was when they saw how cheap it was with Apple Pay"

                              Because having your own payment methods means updating the app, keeping the methods secure, having enough IT staff to keep it running and having OWN servers for it.

                              Now they can dump it all on Google instead (in case of Android) and make Google do all the work, so if banks dumped their own payment methods for Google Pay, I don't see most if any dump Apple Pay for their own methods, because it cheaper for a bank to dump most of the cost on Apple and Google.

                              Sad thing in my opinion, but it was to be expected with how money hungry most banks are.

                              As for that one bank that doesn't do it, main reaosn is because the gov owns it here, so I assume that is why.
