AnonD-762416, 17 Dec 2022Hey, gramps, we have stores for apps. They're called a... moreHey, kid, good luck storing an app on the app store. Does your special self think you're gonna download and delete an app each time you want to use it? Simply because you wanted to pay several times more for cloud storage that you can't store apps on? Hilarious. Keep digging your grave I wanna hear more of this nonsense.
"I didn't know Apple users were poor?" How slow can one person be? Look at my favorited phones on my profile. They're all the ones I've owned. Apart from loaning an mostly broken iPhone 6 from a family member for a bit after one of mine bootlooped.
And a Microsoft 365 subscription is $70 for 1TB. Not 60. No wonder you seem so slow, you don't know how to read. In 10 years you'll have paid 310% more than what you would've paid for a micro sd card. And you will have to keep paying for it until you go and buy your own storage anyways, otherwise you can say goodbye to those files.
Next time specify what you mean by safer. Though not that it matters. Even by what you mean it's still not safer. Nothing's safe about a company holding your data for ransom until you pay the bill. Good luck, "throwing your phone in a bottomless pit", "burning your house down" and/or "losing all of your physical possessions". As if those are not absurdly less likely scenarios.

DaFink, 20 Dec 2022Yeah none of that made any sense whatsoever 🤷
I will say... moreFacts are facts. Technology is technology. It is no secret Samsung is the manufacturer of almost everything in mobile these days. That naturally means they have a leg up in the whole industry. That is why my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro lasts nearly five days on a charge while any other SMART watch brand needs to engage all sorts of power saving limitations to get past two days. This is what you get when you literally innovate and produce all the technology everyone else needs.
Back to your selective bull about "we and you". YOU started that nonsense. If that doesn't make sense to you, disconnect from the Internet and take a loooong break from the keyboard wars.

I will say this though, as far as the ‘we’ go, I have been and continue to be an android customer, I have more than one android based device in the house right now. My motivation when buying them though had nothing to do with any of the technological superiority gibberish you spouted. I simply purchased based on value, need and availability. And since I’m not afflicted with some pathological hatred any of one brand or platform, I was free to choose from the entire market range.
So enough of this ‘we’ nonsense dude, you speak for nobody else. And I wouldn’t dream of wasting your time, you seem quite capable of doing that your self.

AnonD-762416, 14 Dec 2022That sounds like some 347-5#17 cray cray nonsense.
This ... moreWho’s this ‘we’ pal, you the voice for Android customers as a demographic now is it?
Where as I can fully believe that you believe the tripe you speak, and your own reasons revolve around the sense of superiority you feel whilst stroking your phone and mumbling on to yourself about how much better it is than some iPhone. I’m certain though the millions of others Android users will have their own varied reasons for being such.
I’m also suspect that many of them will find it just a little bit sad that so strident an android fanboy seems to spent much of his spare time hanging out on articles relating to Apple and it’s products 🤷

Anonymous, 14 Dec 20221. Safetynet almost killed custom rom + root community enti... more1. I have had multiple phones with custom ROMs and Safetynet hasn't been an issue for me, but my Pixel a-series phones have been my primary phones since 2020.
2. Hasn't been an issue for me; my phones work fine.
3. Is an opinion.
4. Name a specific customization
5. I'm using NOVA and it looks like it's always looked. It's not as smooth as the Pixel launcher, but that's to be expected since I'm not using the Pixel launcher.
6. This has always been the case. You can use a 3rd party launcher.
7. Some manufacturers have ignored this for SEVERAL years. Huawei is the main one that comes to mind. Google didn't punish them for doing it, so of course other manufacturers will do it.
I understand your concerns with 1 and 2. IMO these are addressing valid security concerns. Custom ROM'ing / rooting has always been a double edged sword. The others are all just nitpicking things you don't like or have been issues for several iterations of Android, not just new to 12. I have an older Xiaomi phone running Pixel Experience A12. I don't see anything weird on it compared to my 3 Pixel phones.

I didn't know Apple users were poor? I guess the myth is true, that you're all buying your phones on loans you can't afford? A Microsoft 365 subscription costs 60 bucks a year and gives you a thousand GB cloud storage.
Yes, it's infinitely safer. You have automated incremental file backups. You can throw your phone in bottomless pit, burn your house down, and lose all of your physical possessions. Yet, your cloud storage will remain.
Dump your outdated iPhone! You'll clearly love and be amazed by "the future".

I mean a 200gb Google drive subscription is $30 a year. 256 gig micro sd cards are like $25. After 10 years you'll have spent 1200% more on cloud storage than you would've spent on the more functional card.
And safer? What's safer about other people having your data? Is this a joke? Cause it sure is funny. 😂
"When anyone talks about Samsung flagships they are talking about the S series" Again, what? Quote what I said that you're responding to because you're not making any sense.
"If you hate the fact that Samsung is AMOLED"? What? Another point pulled out of your a**?
